I took it because my leg is getting worse (it goes through spurts where it will be bearable and then not) and the Aspirin/Tylenol combo in the Excedrin sometimes helps more because I usually go straight to Motrin, and rarely take Excedrin so my body isn't as used to that one. But along with the much needed energy, today it like made me oddly happy, too.
i woke this morning with the worse headache every(i get them everymornign from the sub) and my throut hurts, so bad, and so on and so on. i am 29 days clean today. i feel like someone ran opver me. i hope it goes away by at least saturday. im not trying to feel like this on my wedding day. my head feels like someone hit me in the head with a hammer over and over again while i was sleeping. i hope everyone else is having a better day.
t break no matter what I take (Ive been prescribed 800mg of ibuprofen, 800mg of naproxen, 15mg of promethazine, 4mg of zofran, and 5mg of prednisone, Ive even tried excedrin, NOTHING HAS WORKED), nausea so bad I sit in the bathroom half the day vomiting, ringing in my ears and dizziness so bad I can't stand up.
Well, ive been to 3 different doctors about my problemfor the past 6 months ive had these weird headaches every single day. They usually start in the morning when i wake up and i get this noise in my ears i hearits hard to explain how it sounds but its kinda like the noise you would hear when you listen to one of those big seashells from the ocean its kind of like that in a way.
To relieve them, I have taken 2 Excedrin (asprin, acetaminophen and caffeine) and one Claritin-D (before Claritin came onto the market, I was taking something else but I don't remember what it was). They would occur 3 or 4 times a year. They have been steadily increasing in frequency to the point where they occur every other day. My "cure" is always the same, 2 Excedrin and 1 Claritin-D.
I have battled an addiction to Excedrin for almost 15 years now, and can't seem to stop it for good. Is anyone else struggling with this? If so, have you had any success in weaning yourself off?
I would be on and off of them. I now have been taking excedrin migraine medicine to get rid of the headaches and give me a boost of energy since it has caffeine. The problem is it works good but even though I eat something before I take it, about an hour or so later I am nauseous. Why does this happen if I eat like it says. Does anyone have any insight into this. Thanks .
I used a TENS unit that I purchased off ebay and put it on my lower back and it helped wonders. If you are unable to attain one a massager helps too. I have an eletric wand that I would plug up and lay on my belly and stretch the cord so it would lay on my calf. It helped quite a bit,but the TENS unit was better. I wish I never let my brother-in-law borrow it because outside of it helping my herniated discs in my neck I had hell with withdrawals last pm.
Which excedrin can you take while pregnant...I've been having migraines for 2 days and Tylenol is not helping. I've always taken excedrin.
Hi! I have MS and used to suffer from daily headaches that were horrible. I tried probably 20 meds including pain pills (which I hate because they make be woozy). My headaches were the entire back of my head and neck and two things have worked.
One is a "pain pill" called butalbital (spelling?) I didn't love it but it helped the headaches and the side effects weren't as bad as other pain pills.
The real helper was found by accident.
the amoxicillin will be fine and as long as its like mine and only has the nasal decongestent you should be fine but check the lable on your sudefed make sure it does not contain acetaminophen or asprin because those should both be in your excdrin so if there is asprin or acetaminophen in your sudefed then you can not take your excedrine but if there is not you sure can

I am curious, have you quit taking excedrin? i too am addicted to excedrin and have been for about 3 years. isnt much but i dont want it to turn to more. i have tendonitis in both shoulders that i cant seem to get rid of...thinking it may be more. i get bad headaches daily that last pretty much 24-7. and i also sprained my back 3 years ago and never took physical therapy (which the back pain started it all). i take up to 15-20 a day in doses of 4 at a time. i cant seem to shake the addiction.
