I didn't feel any side effects but I was wondering why I shouldn't be drinking it. I have very mild hypothyroidism. The ingredients in the drink are: Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate, Creatine Monohydrate, Beta Alanine, Caffeine, 1,3-Dimethylamylamine (Geranium [Stem]), Schizandrol A Could any of these ingredients cause harm?

Calling it an amino acid powder or a cheap protein precursor(there really is no such thing as a protine precursor) would be like calling a car 4 wheels and some metal. Not extremely accurate. It is designed to provide energy(caffeine) as well as some other herbal ingredients that help with energy and mental focus. It also has argnine which will help increase blood flow and oxygen to the muscles. It also contains a form of creatine as well.
Avatar f tn I am not sure about all of the other ingredients, but the one for me that stands out it caffeine anhydrous - this means that there is no or little water content in the caffeine which makes it more potent than normal caffeine and its recommended to limit caffeine intake during pregnancy anyway. I've also read to limit the amount of herbal teas/intake as all of the side effects have not necessarily been tested.

Avatar f tn Right after you have your baby take care of your body by drinking lots of water and eating healthy , that helped me a lot with my first pregnancy I lost about 30lbs in the month after I had her. I plan on doing the same this pregnancy! Eating clean & water water water!!

It actually helps me out when i feel down in the dumps and need a pick me up. Rather drink some caffiene then to get some pills. Avatar f tn I still Jazzercise 4 times a week and I'm 13 weeks along. You can keep doing your pre-pregnancy workout if your body is used to it. If you're starting from scratch, try walking or water aerobics. Water aerobics is actually awesome during pregnancy! I was told no flat-on-your-back abs after the first trimester, and not to get my heart rate over 160bpm.

Now I have days where I can barely function at all due to depression, but if I take 12mg of ephedrine, some caffeine and 1/2 an aspirin I feel normal to great. I've only been on actual depression medications once - I took Paxil. It didn't seem to work well and the side effects of getting off it were horrible.

Avatar m tn From my experience, if your level is 115/141 two hrs after sugar intake, this indicates pre-diabetes. 30 min - 1 hr workout on treadmill daily, will help levels stay in check without meds.

I didn't quit any of those things until i got extreme anxiety after being diagnosed and having more episodes. After my ablation i quit every thing and now after 6 months I'm easing into decaf things and soon the occasional drink.
Avatar m tn Hi, whey protein is just dried milk without the calcium caseinate, lactose, and fat... plain and simple. It's best to use whey protein only for pre-and-post workout nutrition. You're really better off getting the rest of your protein from real food. Drink it 30-45 minutes before working out. For post-workout nutrition it gets a little trickier because the mixture depends on your goals. The post-workout shake is made from skim milk, whey protein.

Avatar f tn Yup, it's completely fine to jog. My doctor told me to stay as active as possible because in her words "you wouldn't run a marathon without working out first, right?" That's what she compares labor to the extent of running a marathon. Just make sure to stay hydrated.
