My psychiatrist has me on Lamictal, Effexor, Neurontin, Wellbutrin, and Nuvigil. From my PCP I take Pravachol and Lisinopril. Is it safe to take all these together? All answers are appreciated.

My husband was told he needed a pace maker, but was also told that if he got one, he couldn't stay on the liver transplant list. Is this true? It wasn't the transplant group that told him this, it was the doctor who had gone over his heart tests and who would be putting in his pace maker. He is very upset and worried about this. He's been on the liver transplant list for 7 years.

I had a pace maker ( Altrua 60 DDDR is-1) six days ago. Now I feel worst. I have shortness of breath and when I stand my blood pressure drops dramatically as low as 84/30. Sitting is pretty normal. I am taking Sotalol HCL 120 mg 1/2 tablet twice a day. I can not climb stairs or do much walking with out struggling to breath. Is this normal for a new heart Pacer implant? Do I need to give it more time? I might add that I suffer from autonomic neuropathy.

I was on medication in and out as I develop side effects to the statin drugs. I was on Lipitor, then on Pravachol and lastly on Crestor. None of them had problems loweting the Choesterol levels, but muscle and joint pain even with Vit D and Co Q10 as prescribed my physician.
