I also eat food that is high in potassium and take a med that helps the potassium from being leached from my body from taking lasix, so I don't know why the "No Salt" is an issue. What I use that really adds a lot of flavor - and I used it for many years is a spice -called "Spike". It goes great on everything. You can get it with or without salt. My husband is eating his food the same way I season mine now and he really likes it.

1618806 tn?1304734477 Salad binge?! I eat salads every day. LOL! But I'm highly concerned about the advice your dishing out about Ms. Dash. Ms. Dash IS NOT a salt substitute it is merely a salt replacement. There's a WORLD of difference between Ms. Dash and Morton Salt Substitute (for example) which is loaded with Potassium Chloride. If you take the time to read the ingredients on ANY Ms. Dash flavors, you'll find nothing but herbs and spices, there's absolutely NO potassium chloride in it.

Avatar n tn This one is from Petfoodratings.net: Purina Beneful Review: Beneful has enjoyed quite the reputation in pet food circles among those who may not really know what's in pet foods. But does it hold up when the label is looked at?? Let's see.... Well, no.

Avatar n tn I lost 5 of my rescues during the whole poison pet food debacle. I watched a colony we had done TNR on dwindle from over 50 to 3. I have a male and a female survivor who both have weak hind legs. I would like to help them if I can although they are not in pain. One person suggested it might be due to a potassium dip due to the renal probs the poison caused.
