First off I am so sorry for your loss. I still experienced pregnancy symptoms after my loss was diagnosed, although they did stop once I had a D&C. I am not sure what your situation was exactly, but if you miscarried naturally, it is very possible your hormones are still elevated. High progesterone is the main cause of symptoms. Also, the further along you were, the longer the symptoms can remain. It can also be due to a difficulty in accepting it.

I had my miscarriage in 2010. Didnt know i was pregnant. Started bleeding lightly and for 2weeks it only got heavier and heavier. Thought it was my period messing around again. Until i actually lost the baby then i knew. Bled for about another week or 2 after that. Sorry for your loss.

First of all, I am sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage in February but i had a d&c done so it took me 6 LONG weeks to get my first AF after that. Unfortunately, I am still trying to conceive. We are going on 8 months. We waited 2 cycles after the miscarriage so it has been 10 months total. But, some girls bounce right back into a healthy pregnancy with no problem. One thing I will try to tell you is to be patient as your cycles can be a little messed up after a miscarriage.

Hi I'm due 22 may so I'm 7wks 3days. I've got a 2 year old girl and had a miscarriage in January. I'm worrying that I have had a (missed miscarriage) as all my pregnancy symptoms over the last week have completey gone. Many have virtually no symptoms through their whole pregnancy (lucky ladies..). Have you had a period since your loss? Also, one blood test may not give the answers you are looking for. If you are having positive pregnancy tests, bloodwork will almost certainly show a positive. You need two bloodtests, 2 days apart. If the HCG levels are rising, that would most likely mean a new pregnancy. All the best to you, and good luck!

t think Jem75 has anything to worry about, early pregnancy often does involve brown spotting because of the change in hormones. However, a loss of symptoms is really concerning especially since I had reall really sore nipples until a couple of days ago and they just went - in a matter of an hour or so. The glands on them aren't nearly sticking out as much as they were either.

Hi there. So, you had a miscarriage? I'm so sorry sweetie. That's hard! Was it a molar pregnancy and that is why you are waiting a year? Anyway, just know that the majority of women who have a miscarriage go on to have healthy pregnancies and babies. I don't think there is anything you need to know post D&C.

Currently I do feel I did suffer a miscarriage due to sudden blood loss and pelvic pain, but I cannot be certain, so would you advice seeing a doctor to check the cause?

i am concern is it normal to have a home miscarriage and doctor tell me no need for dc to take a pill instead.

OMG, this happened to me a few weeks ago. I am now almost 8 weeks. When I was around 5 I went into the Dr's office asking them to take blood again because all symptoms went away. They advised me it's too early for symptoms & the meds is what throws us off. Hang in there. My pregnancy is still going strong.

You wont know until you get checked out. Plenty of women experience a loss of symptoms (i had very light symptoms and still do.) As far as im concerned, if your really goinf through hell about this then i would get checked out to put your mind at ease.

It can take months to get back on track, and some people even ovulate 2 weeks after a miscarriage, as if the miscarriage was like a period. So there is a chance your body is taking it's time to get back on track, but also a chance that you could be pregnant again if you do not use any protection. Let us know what happens!

Nevetheless, I went throught the extrememly uncomfotable miscarriage pocess, but did not go and see my OBGYN for a follow-up post miscarriage. The reason for this is that I do not currently have insurance being a full time student. Throughout the months of Jan-March I did not regain my normal menstrual cycle. There were a few days in each month where I had a little pink in my discharge, accompanied by heavy cramps, but no "actual" typical bleeding.

Im not complaining, Im just worried because I have read that sudden loss of syptoms can mean miscarriage. Have any of you ladies had this happen before?

I know i may sound weird but i always thought when you have a miscarriage that you get HORRIBLE cramps and loss of symptoms and everything!... My doctor even cocked his head in wonder! They said i did everything natural and i wont need a D & C but as messed up as this is to say i really wish i wouldve had cramping or something to make it feel more real and better to cope with! either way i am dealing with it! everything happens for a reason and it just wasnt ment to be!

or do the loss of symptoms sounds like start of miscarrige? i havent had any bleeding, nor have i had any seriouly constant pain, just the pulling feeling that hurts!

I am 6w1d pregnant and 5w4d I completely loss my symptoms my bbs were less sore & now not at all my nipples have lighten up to normal ,I was very tried until that afternoon, I just don't feel pregnant at all has this happen to anyone and continued on with normal pregnancy
