If bleeding after hysterectomy is as heavy as a menstrual period or lasts longer than six weeks then it needs evaluation. Pelvic cramps can be due to healing of stitches but if there is severe pain or any fever then any infection or adhesion formation should be ruled out.

i am bleeding a dark pink in my discharge i had a hysterectomy 25yrs ago i had a complete what could be wrong i have way too much moisture and this is not normal

by definition a hysterectomy is the surgical removal of the uterus with or without the cervix, a seperate operation is called a bilater salphigo Ooperectomy which is the removal of the fallopian tubes and ovaries, they are sometimes removed during a hysterectomy but not technically a part of a hysterectomy. Hyster means uterus in medicial terms.

I also think you should mention this, I stopped bleeding after only a couple of days, i still have slightly pink discharge, if do too much. Look after yourself.

My mom had TAH and after 6 months she started getting a pale pink discharge. The doctors said she had fibroid which became cancerous so they had to perform the hysterectomy, something called lyeomyosarcoma. The doctor checked her in the clinic after 6 months and she had a blood clot the size of a fist that came out straight after the doctors examination. Looked like a dark jelly. The doctors said its a growth again.

i have had a hysterectomy, approx. 1 week ago. I had a vaginal hyst. that kinda went wrong, I hemmoraged thru my stitches and had to b rushed back to surgery. Now i am home and dont feel any better still alot of pain, bloody discharge, very lightheaded when iu stand up, nausea, back pains, leg cramps, and other small things. I am aware this is a long heal8ng process but this just don't feel ok........ any sugg.?

Hi... I am 6 weeks and having pink discharge but only when I wipe with mild back pain.the pain however feels like muscle pain. Is this normal? So I need to go to the ER it call me doctor? I am worried.

No. You are likely pregnant...or maybe you for some reason missed your period.....if you still don't get it and pregnancy tests are negative get your thyroid checked, it being out of whack can cause you to miss your period.

Soon after the first couple of times i started getting a pale pink discharge. I´m due my period in about 4 days and have been having this discharge almost 2 weeks now. I´m 23 years old and we plan to start trying for a baby in the winter. I took a pregnancy test last week and it was negative and am now paranoid about cancer and such.

What does a pink discharge mean, it was watery with a sign of pink through it. My AF is not due for another week and i am having slight cramps and a major sore muscle spasm in my right leg although i don't think that means anything.
