pink discharge before labor

Hi girls i am 31 weeks pregnant and i have just gone to toilet and noticed pink discharge? is this normal?

t want to worry you as it could just be sensitive cervix. But you can get a pink show just before you go into Labor. I would get it checked just to be sure.

No I had pink colored discharge a week before I went into labor.

I was 38 weeks when I had him btw.

30pm a (couple of days ago) i had a trickle of fluid down below and it was pink?? and this morning i woke up and my sanny pad was pink again, it doesnt look like a period, it doesnt smell, and im not in any pain?? im abit worried, is it normal or NOT!!

Pink to light brown discharge is a sign of older blood. It does not sound like bloody show to me (L&D RN) bloody show is more of a red/dark red and usually with mucous. Have you had sex or an exam recently?

I think I should wait until tomorrow and see if I get my period then if not buy a test :) I'm just unsure only because I've never had symptoms even throughout my whole pregnancy.

Labor may be coming up really soon! I started losing my mucous plug about two weeks before I went into labor BUT I only noticed blood streaked mucous about 2 or 3 days before I actually went into active labor!!! Don't worry about only being 1 cm dilated. I went from 2cm to complete (10 cm) within a few hours! It can mean absolutely nothing at all as far as how quickly labor will progress. This may be TMI but I just had to run to the bathroom and had a bad case of diarrhea Ive been constapated all the way up until today also I noticed earlier my discharge was a light pink... I heard that diarrhea means labor is soon... I was wondering if any of y'all had something like that and them went into labor. If so how long did it take for you to go into labor.

I'm currently 32 weeks but measuring a week ahead at 33 weeks. 2 days ago I had a bright pink discharge (normal discharge amount, not a lot) and then right after that I have had a lot of pressure down in my area and loose bowels (I've been constipated for a few days up until the pink discharge). I feel like I have to pee every 2 minutes but I don't have any burning or itching or any pain for that matter.

Well when I got home, nothing was there and then all of a sudden a very light pink discharge appeared. It was pink at first and then turned into a light "tomato soup" kind of color. My breasts are slightly sore and I'm always tired. I've already looked up the symptoms for pregnancy but I just...can't be pregnant. Have you had any itch or odor with it? It could be an infection I'd mention it to your OB. When I went into labor it was pink, then got darker pink, and brownish as I lost my mucus plug.

Ok so yesterday I've been noticing a watery discharge that was the normal creamy white color and about 2 hrs after I had that it turned into pink watery discharge. I'm 39+5 and I haven't had intimate relations with my boyfriend for two days. This morning as well around 7am I had the same watery pink discharge but now its coming with contractions/cramping. I had sex like a week ago, several times, and it was kind of rough, so i got a vaginitis, and 2 days ago I went to pee and when I wiped there was light pink blood. Like very light. when you wipe look at the tissue if you see mucous like really thick discharge with a brown pink or red streak in it that is called bloody show/mucous plug which would mean your cervix is open

Sounds like discharge to me. I'd put on a pad and if you fill it within an hour go in, I made sure I filled two before going in when my water broke.

Tonight, I had a very small clump in my underwear, tinged slight yellow. Can coughing cause preterm labor or dislodge the mucus plug? I have had three children, all full-term, no problems with preterm labor. I think that I have had this mucus mixed with leukorrhea much of the pregnancy but can't remember! Could it be just the increased mucus production (like in my sinuses too)? I called my doc yesterday (this was before the clump in my underwear), and he didn't seem worried.

BUT keep in mind that some women lose their plug 6 weeks or so before going into labor. It could just be your body preparing.

Its kinf of like a ball of discharge . There should some pink or red in there if it your plug.

Probably the "bloody show", which means labor is right around the corner ( anywhere from a couple days to a few weeks)

How did you mommies feel before you went into labor?

t really determine how quickly labor will come. For some women it may be a few weeks before anything happens, and for others it may happen that same day. For my first i went to pee and real light blood came out and a few hours later it was time to go to the hospital. With my son it was different i had the mucus discharge what your explaining and i leaked that for a week or two before it was time. However, with my son i did not have any cramps or pain with the discharge.
