m curious why more studies have not been conducted to study the correlation between phentermine and acne? Acne is not listed as a possible side effect of phentermine, but phentermine is considered a methamphetamine; methamphetamines are known to causes acne. I am a biology teacher and am frustrated that medical professionals are not confirming the overwhelming reports of acne being associated with phentermine. Is it a conspiracy????

I starting using the phentermine after i stopped using cocaine after 15 years and gained a lot of weight. dr. 1st prescribed to loose weight because he did not know I was a recovering addict, and wala plecibo! I feel all i did was trade the illegal drug for a legal one, although i have purchased phentermine off the internet for years.
I too have done Phentermine (it is banned in canada now) and lost weight. You cannot be on it forever and your advice is bang on!! You do have to get up and move to burn calories. The food tracker in here is awesome!! It really makes you look where your food calories are coming from.
I'm on 30mg phentermine. ive been taking it for 3 weeks now. lost 4lbs, ate one good meal, and gained it back all in one day. I was down to salads and water, with no results what so ever. It also makes me very, very sleepy. I need to lose the weight, but nothing working.. any comments anyone has would be greatly appreciated!

I have been taking Phentermine 37.5 and synthroid .088 for about 4 months now. I just found out a few days ago I am pregnant. I figured I should stop taking the Phentermine but I didn't know if it would have any effects on the baby already. Also I did not know if I can continue to take the synthroid?
I stopped taking the phentermine 4 days after the rash developed due to thinking it was the other thing. Now its 3 weeks later off of the phentermine, and topiramate, and im still getting the rash. Ive tried benadryl, but the rash still appeared, though it seemed to help slightly. im going to try a complete body clense to clear my system of everything, and if it doesnt stop in about 2 weeks, ill have to go to the doctor and see what they can tell me.
How much phentermine is too much? I took 8 (37.5) today all spaced out about 2 per 6 hours. I can't sleep and I am really thirsty but that seems to be about it. I just don't want to overdose.
I miscarried last Wednesday Nov. 21 at 8 weeks & 3 days. My pregnancy was totally unplanned. I'm 39 will be 40 on 12-3. I started taking Phentermine for weight loss in June and am down 54 pounds. Since then, I have started to see a Weight Management doctor for my weight issues related to the PCOS. The wight doctor put me on Phentermine.
I prescribed60 mg of adderall but one week I had to take left over phentermine and 10mg adderall and my focusing was great and energy and I still do take 1/3 of phentermine a day.
While I was pregnant the binging and purging was actually quite easy to control. My baby is now 5 months old and I am again having a very difficult time controlling the impulsive behavior. Prior to becoming pregnant I weighed only 145. I gained only 17 pounds during my pregnancy bringing me to 162 pounds. I never lost a thing after having mt baby which just seems bizarre and impossible to me.

Phentermine can alter your blood sugar levels, if you are going to try using it please use it with caution and monitor your blood sugar levels more frequently... if you notice changes and if your blood sugars are becoming too low then stop taking phentermine, and seek further advice about what you could use instead of phentermine. Remember that diabetes should be your priority.
I too, took phentermine, still have like a full bottle someplace in the house, I hid it and now I can't find it anywhere. and like you, I took it to wake up and something to sleep at night, then felt kind of dopy all morning, its a viscous cycle. anyhow, I started having heart palpations, and an abnormal t wave and that scared the **** out of me, so I stopped it, no w/d, but stay away if possiable because it does raise your blood pressure and heart problems occure sometimes.
I decided to go to a local Weight Loss Clinic because I had already exhausted my options, and they prescribed 30mg of Phentermine as an appetite suppressant.
I didn't really realize the risk of dependency or how powerful this drug could be. I went from 150 lbs to 140 lbs in about a month and have stayed there, although that isn't my ideal weight. However, I didn't want to become addicited or reliant on a Rx.
