m curious why more studies have not been conducted to study the correlation between phentermine and acne? Acne is not listed as a possible side effect of phentermine, but phentermine is considered a methamphetamine; methamphetamines are known to causes acne. I am a biology teacher and am frustrated that medical professionals are not confirming the overwhelming reports of acne being associated with phentermine. Is it a conspiracy????

When amphetamines were more regulated to sell as diet aids, phentermine started to be the main drug sold for hunger suppression. Be careful, people do get strung out on that drug. Always take as prescribed, you will build such a tolerance that it will no longer be effective, but your suppressed adrenals will make you want it for the energy. I am on Phentermine a diet pill, I have been taking it for 4 months. I have Anxiety and I am also Bipolar which I haven't had any Anxiety for over a year now. I prescribed60 mg of adderall but one week I had to take left over phentermine and 10mg adderall and my focusing was great and energy and I still do take 1/3 of phentermine a day.

Did you ask your doctor about taking Phen with your BB? Ask your doctor or pharmacist.. I would never take any type of amphetamine with an arrhythmia; all kinds of things could happen. I think that's what started my major problems with my NSVT runs that made my heart stop.

I, too, would be hesitant to take a drug like that if I were just coming down from addictions like you are. It sounds like you are eating to keep yourself busy --- where you would normally smoke a cigarette, you are satisfying that "hand to mouth" impulse with food.

I got my period beginning of june I started the phentermine middle of june i missed my period in july and aug. I took 3 home preg test they were all negative and i made a dr appt i got blood taken and they did the preg test it came up negative. i went for an ultra sound aug 22 and more blood work i havent got the results back from that yet but i still havent gotten it yet i also skipped 3-4 days of the pill my dr said the pills shouldnt be causing the missed periods. Sorry, did not mean to imply Phentermine was a non perscription ie. safe drug. Several years ago you could get a perscription over the internet (90.% pills) by filling out a questionaire for an online MD and checking a box that you read the contradictions, you were answering the questions correctly and you recently were checked by an MD for BP. They overnighted them in a perscription bottel with MD name and number. You could also do the same from an add in the newspaper.

Now after a week on phentermine they reappeared. I have stopped the phentermine and have been dosing on antihistamines hoping I do not have to go back to the allergist for the cyclosporin again. I will give it another week but then I head for the cure.
