percocet zofran

I have been on oxy 40mg and percocet 10-325 for about a year now, well my stomach was not having it and I couldnt stop throwing up, so Dr.put me on 50 mcg little relief but have only had it on for 13 hrs. is this thing gonna help me soon?

Does the roxicet have Tylenol in it by any chance? When I was on Percocet, I was constantly vomiting my medication. I switched to oxycodone when they kept increasing how often I was to take it. Even though most people don't have a problem with Tylenol upsetting their stomach, I can't tolerate it. It can also be a temporary side effect. You don't mention how long you've been on these medications but if you just started, you may adjust to it.

First it was the zanaflex then the oxycodone hcl. I had to switch to the back percocet, but it does not work as well as the oxycodone. I'm so sensitive to all my medications. I know the percocet is not going to work out either for me. I'm almost to the limit of the tylenol content and the pain doc wants me to cut back on the percocet and increase the oxycontin. You may have to try something else. I hope you find something that works well for you. Good luck.

One was a shot in the bum when I threw my back out about 8 years ago. They gave me the shot, a short course of Percocet 5 mg. and Advil 800 mg., and told me to rest my back for 2 to 3 days and use ice for the first 24 hours, then alternate heat and ice. And I followed the instructions to the letter and it worked.

I just want to say it is like night and day since they gave me a script for some , started today, I was up all last night vomiting, do not suffer ask your doctor for some!!

Have any of u mommys taken zofran for morning sickness? My doctor prescribed it to me but im nervous to take a medication while pregnant.

Yes zofran is great. Took in beginning of pregnancy and now again towards the end..

Maybe look into promethazine?

So has anyone taken zofran while pregnant? I try to stay away from all medicine except my vitamins but the other night I ate something and I'm guessing my baby really didn't like it because I've been kind of sick since then but the other night the nausea was unbearable so I took one.

Any reviews on zofran ? Im 20 weeks and ive been taking it once a day almost my whole pregnancy to help me keep down food. But now im hearing bad things about it. I havent had an ultra sound yet so im worried about it?

I'm now 12w3d and I've been having really bad morning sickness to the point I have to go to the hospital 3times a week just for fluids and I've been taking the prescription zofran since I was 9 weeks. I recently saw that zofran is being sued for causing birth defects.. I've asked my doctor about it and she just says that there is no evidence yet.. I'm trading the pill form and getting thru iv.. I'm a ftm and I just don't know what to do right now.

How many mommies here had to take zofran? Is it really safe I am taking it now to help me on my sickness but worries still in my mind. Share your thought about this med.

I have terrible morning sickness and I was given a prescription for ondansetron 4mg which is the generic version of zofran. I'm scared to take it because of the possible side effects and the warnings I've seen on TV. I don't want to take any risks when it comes to my baby. Any thoughts on this?

Dmpnonna, I weighed 120 before pregnancy. Minus 40 pounds. I got down to 79 pounds. I went into preterm labor bc my body just simply could not support the weight of my baby. At 22 weeks my baby would not have survived. I was told by so many doctors "you have your baby now, he WILL die" zofran saved his life. If it wasn't for zofran I would weigh 107 now and I wouldn't still be carrying our sweet little boy at 30 weeks. Sometimes drugs are necessary.

So my doctor prescribed me some nausea medicine called zofran and I was watching a commercial on tv and it was talking about how babies are being born with birth defects after using the nausea medicine zofran. So should I stop taking it and find other ways to deal with the nausea ? or should I continue to use it if my doctor recommended it.

My friend took it with her pregnancies and delivered healthy babies,but i know there are massive lawsuits against zofran. I would say consult with your Dr and approach with caution.

Hi, I am 6 weeks pregnant almost 7 now and I have had the worse nausea of my life. Not much of throwing up just nausea. I was prescribed Zofran to help with that but I have found that a lot of women who have taken it have had their child born with deformities. Has anyone taken this medicine before???

I was taking Zofran my first pregnancy from 4 wks right when I had found out to 6-7 months and my daughter was perfectly healthy. So far this pregnancy I have been on it since 7 wks and still taking it at 22 wks and my baby boy is growing big and healthy. It is bs that they called you, I would of went off.

I have been in the hospital the past two days with keytones in my urine, meaning I havnt been eating, which I have been eating but I got very sick the other night and couldnt keep anything down. So when I got to the hospital my doctors prescribed me zofran, and I have heard about the recent studies shown and so I asked them and they told me it was okay to take as long as your out of your first trimester.

It is perfectly fine to take while pregnant I took it threw out my first pregnancy and I'm currently taking it now threw my second pregnancy :)
