I have had severe heartburn/reflux for some time, regardless of medication. After a gastric empty study my doctor decided to put me on liquid Erythromycin three times a day, because apparently I was one percentage away from an "abnormal" emptying time. Because 60mg of Prevacid wasn't helping me, my doctor thought that perhaps slowed emptying could be causing my persistent burning. On top of my heartburn/reflux problem, I also have a history of ovarian cysts.
i am currently taking 2mg of xanax 2x a day i also take 30 mg oxycodone 4x a day my dr retired no new dr will write both meds i am having xanax withdrawal.
t think the effexor is creating interaction issues but I am not a doctor. Howuch Percocet were you taking before stopping? How long have you been taking it consistently?
I completely forgot to ask if there was an interaction between these two drugs. I may not even have to take the xanax, only if I have a panic attack will I. Does anyone know if there is an interaction between these two? Also, I took 1/2 a promethazine (phenegran) for nausea in the AM around 7 because the antibiotics made me feel like I was going to throw up. Is there any reaction between the things I just named? Please let me know!
Hello Ive been taking 20 percocet a day now for 16days. I started taking them because of a herniated disk! I am not going to take anymore! How long will my withdrawls last? Also I take Xanax and Valium for really bad anxiety, will the xanax and valium help witht the withdrawl symptoms???
Hello I am going to go off a 3 year 4 -6 a day Percocet habit on Friday alone .. I have to do this for myself my children and my new job that I start in two weeks . My dr recently prescribed me Xanax and celexa for anxiety and depression but I was to scared to tell him about the pills I have been taking ... I have not started the celexa because I am scared it will interact with the Percocet and haven't taken Amy Xanax because i haven't needed it ..
Is it possible these symptoms are being caused by Xanax withdrawal or interaction between Xanax and Dramamine or Azithromiacin (antiabiotic). Most of the muscle buzzing, muscle twitches and insomnia started after mixture of Dramamine and Xanax.

Here comes the withdrawl all over again. Not only did i drop this but marijuana, subboxone, xanax, and alchol,were all also dropped yesterday as well. Its day 2 and i barley made it through work. Will this last long, and will it get worse.Any help would be appreciated. I work 12 houra day.
I've been on them for close to 2 months. top dose 30mg. I also have beat a 10 year addiction to xanax recently. I'm not to fearful of detoxing off the percocet except i have a 2 year old autistic grandaughter to take care of. the percocet gives me some engery to do that. but i need to get off this rollercoaster! thanks for your reply!

I was prescribed Percocet for severe muscle spasms in my back. Usually 1 or 2 would nip the spasm before it got too bad. Then I discovered it helped me sleep also! I also found it helped my mood, i.e., made me more talkative to my husband, more interesting. You all know the rest of the story. I am on day 9 without taking any Percs - but I've made a terrible mistake in taking Ambien, Valium or Xanax to help me sleep.
to anyone out there. i was wondering if 10mg of percocet a day is going to addict me. i have migranes due to withdraws from xanax.
They have me on 30 mg oxycontin, twice daily, 10/325 percocet 6 a day, soma 4 times daily and xanax 2 mg for anxiety.
What are my options for the breakthrough pain, that is what I am taking the percocet for and I need to stop with the Tylenol already enough is enough. I talked with my doc last time I was there to see her, and this is when she switched me to the percocet from Vicoprofen, due to the fact that it was doing nothing for the pain.

Ambien works the exact same way as benzos. If you looked up Ambien Withdrawal you'll find it's very rough to get off of. But I bet if you resumed your Ambien just as your doctor prescribed, it will eventually build back up in your system and let you sleep again. I have to admit, I'm like you and I second guess my doctor, but he always seems to know best.
A couple of years ago I was on Ambien 10mg for just 9 months and it took me 4 months to taper off of it.
So yesterday I took one dose of diflucan which is an antibiotic when I looked up the interactions it said it has a major reaction with xanax... its been over 12 hours since I took the diflucan... does anyone know if I can start taking my xanax now.
You can take Xanax too and Xanax being a sedative, hypnotic, anti-convulsive, anxiolytic medication will make you even more tired and dizzy since you are already on Seroquel which is very sedative in its anti-psychotic kind of med. You get the extended release which should cause less sedation but still when mixed with a benzodiazepine such as Xanax it will add up and make you feel like you mentioned above.
Since you got some relief from the Percocet, staying on the Percocet with Xanax could provide even more pain relief than just with Xanax alone. Also, I wanted to mention that Ativan is a lot more potent than Xanax. I was prescribed Ativan to help with Tramadol withdrawal as I needed to get off of that medication as it stopped working. Even though I was prescribed valium at the time, my doctor said that the Ativan is more potent and relaxing.
