Avatar f tn I did try suboxone for 3 years and it worked great but back in October I had a serious injury to my right leg and was in the hospital for 7 days and they said they were going to override the suboxone with massive amounts of pain meds-and they did. Then they sent me home with a script for percocet-so you see I have been off the drugs and I know how great that was. Suboxone works great but it is hard to come off of.
Avatar f tn Well, there is something called the Thomas Recipe. It will help. Look up the member "goingtomakeit", click on his name. It has listed in his journals. I would post it here, but it is long.

Avatar f tn Somehow in the past four years i have found myself addicted to vicodin, percocet, I dont do anything else but each morning i need something to get through the day. I dont have any insurance, but I am ready to seek help, but if I can find a "home" remedy to help the withdrawals I will. If i don't have anything in the morning I am yawning all day, laying in bed, and dont even want to be around people in general.
Avatar f tn I have just weaned off oxycontin ( 90mg./day) but am still taking percocet once or twice a day for pain. I still need it for the pain. I have been having digestive problems so thats way I went off the long acting. Is my body going to get it's energy back and withdraw properly when I'm still taking percocet occassionally or am I just going to continue to feel like **** all the time going in and out of withdrawal????
