Avatar n tn You have to be careful with too much vitamins that can add to the diarrhea, that is usually a side effect of withdrawal. Try staying away from any products with caffeine and sugars and drink chamomile teas through out..It will help you replacing fluids and take a bit of the edge from anxiety. A bit of walking helps and so as warm baths. Wish you good luck!

Avatar m tn I stopped cold Turkey and it took about 24 hours to reach withdrawal stage, and by 36 hours I was in full withdrawal. My symptoms were: restlessness, headache, insomnia, loss of appetite, irritability, sweating, chills, diarrhea, muscle aches, runny nose and watery eyes. It seemed the restlessness kept me awake the most. Restless arms and legs all night.
Avatar f tn My BF is a bit better, I think. I told him all of the tips I read. I wished I could have been with him to help him through it. But I'm still recovering from a serious concussion from a serious car accident last Wednesday and can't really drive. What bothers me though is he goes back and forth about what's going on. He's not being truthful. First he says it's the withdrawal, then says it can't be. I know he's lying to himself.
1734102 tn?1310442098 I have cronic backpain, my Doctor has given me 90 Percocet a month for almost 8 years now, he said from the beginning i won't get hooked, is this true ?
Avatar f tn I have taken about 50mg of Percocet per day for 2 years but I ran out on Sunday July 15th and didn't get a new script. From the 15th to the 21st I was taking 5mg Vicodin and I only took 1 on the 21st. On the 21st around 3:00 I put on my first 5mcg Butran patch and I am curious if taking it off after 48 hours will put me into withdrawal.
1345006 tn?1276887850 Due to a connection, I can go to detox in a hospital for Vicodin, Percocet, Soma and Valium for less cost than normal. She said it would be 5-10 days.. She then wants to send me to a rehab. The rehab is out...too expensive. What I need to know is the following...all the pills I take cause constipation. 5-10 days of detox will get the drugs out of my system. But, what about withdrawal.
Avatar n tn I have a fear of addiction, so I was taking percocet for two weeks and then tylenol 4 for two weeks. I went away and left my percocet, but had four tylelnol 4. I had gone through withdrawal with tylenol 4. I used to not take it for a week to give my body a rest. The withdrawals were only stomach cramps and diarrhea and imodium took care of that. Now I have more withdrawals (I have only been taking the percocet for three months) the worse is the anxiety and goose bump feeling.
Avatar m tn I've been taking low doses of Percocet since July 2010. I've had three surgeries, and major stomach pain so have been taking prescribed Percocet for the pain. At most I've taken maybe three a day, most of the time just taking a half of one at three meals in order to eat. I stopped taking them on Sunday evening, was my last one. Monday afternoon I started with abdominal pain, pain in my back, a high fever, and diarrhea.
Avatar m tn I have been on percocet for years off and on due to 47 surgeries. I have had 4 this year and need one more in December. I quit percocet c/t two days ago and yesterday I thought I was losing my mind, high anxiety, restlessness and everything else that goes with withdrawls. I can not sleep and am constantly laying down, getting up, moving, back to bed and the routine goes on. I don't know what to do. I did take a clonzapem for the anxiety which I am hoping helps.

Avatar f tn People who use Percocets illicitly and attempt to do a Percocet detoxification, are at a high risk of severe withdrawal symptoms as they tend to use higher than prescribed doses. The symptoms of Percocet withdrawal are the same as for other opiate based painkillers and may include anxiety, nausea, weakness, flu like symptoms, fever, diarrhea, muscle pain or spasm and lowered blood pressure.
Avatar n tn I have huge tummy issues, so I take Bentyl, which by the way is a Godsend for withdrawal, because of the stomach cramps and diarrhea. I have been addicted to opiates for 4 years now.. First it was just vicodin, or Norco. I was taking up to 20 Norco a day!! Last year I got on Suboxone. While I will say it is a miracle drug, it stops the wd's and the cravings wonderfully! And I was taking LESS than a half of a pill once a day. Almost like a 4th of a 4th..
Avatar f tn I have just weaned off oxycontin ( 90mg./day) but am still taking percocet once or twice a day for pain. I still need it for the pain. I have been having digestive problems so thats way I went off the long acting. Is my body going to get it's energy back and withdraw properly when I'm still taking percocet occassionally or am I just going to continue to feel like **** all the time going in and out of withdrawal????
Avatar f tn By Monday night the vomiting had stopped but he started with diarrhea. The diarrhea lasted through the entire day/night on Tuesday. He felt a little better by Tuesday night, but again this morning (Wednesday) he began vomiting again. He isn't sure if this is opiate withdrawal or the stomach flu. He has also been under a lot of stress at work and thinks this is a combination of the stomach bug and stress, but I am afraid it's opiate withdrawal. Has anyone been through this?
