I started taking Percs during golf season with my buddies. It was a few here and there and I felt better and played better golf. Now it has gotten out of control. I take at least 10 10/325 percs a day and drink beer while taking them. The euphoria has worn off and I am taking them just to feel level headed. I dont get a high anymore. I am scared of withdrawal and am looking for some advice on how to get off of them. I have a family and they donot know so any kind of rehab is out of the question.

if even just dragging yourself around at first it helps with anxiety and rls get those feel good endorphins flowing in your brain again. it helps to speed up the wd. otc meds that would help benadryl for the runny nose. hylands restful leg for rls..Hang in there both if you.. freedom from our active addiction is attainable and so worth the fight..

ive been on percocet since march,off and on, i am having a hard time getting off them and staying off them, right now i am having some weird side effects that are not listed like waking up stiff and swollen and really sore hot achy, then i take 2 i feel a little better then 4 hours later i take 2 again then i feel better, im up to taking 8 a day. i need help and advice, can i die? how can i get through the withdrawls without problems? I have tramadol and flexeril to help is that good?

That's a lot of fluid not called water. You're ok if you like forgetting 1/7th of your life and probably feeling like crap on Mondays/Tuesdays. I'd go to an AA meeting and see if someone who can relate will give you advice. The meetings are only an hour, its worth it if you're questioning your decisions.

From what I know about antibiotics, it is not ok to drink beer or any alcohol with Doxycycline. It diminishes the effectiveness of the drug and makes it harder to treat the infection. I believe the Pharmacist will add the warning to the lable. If you seek further assistance, please Google " Doxycyline and alcohol" this will give you a pretty good idea of mixing the two.

I know not intake alcohol spike pregnant, but when you cook with it... does the alcohol evaporate just leaving you with the flavor? If so, I wanna make some.

I want to get off both meds but want to start with the Percocet. I stopped 4 months ago and my blood pressure went to 160/110 so the Dr said I had to take it and refused to give me blood pressure meds because its fine when I take the meds. 2 questions: How should I taper to ease any side effects? I am a professional and a father and do not want to become a monster through this. Could the raised bp be a withdrawal effect? If so how long should I expect that to last.

Now im sure i can deal with the low back issue,but i do not think i can deal with my period problems.I have fibroids and ovarian cysts. Right now i hate them pills!!! Ok no, just no. Beer does not help with your supply. Dark beer allows for a faster let down but it has nothing to do with your supply. And the only reason this is, is because it relaxes you more. If you Choose to drink and then breast feed it's completely up to you. But alcohol will go to your newborn.

I had only recently started drinking somewhat, one one day I took one beer, it was a can of 330ml with 6.8percent beer, what are the chances of it causing some memory loss, I remember having protected sex with a girl afterwards, what are the chances that this one beer can could have caused memory loss and that some detail of the event may not be in my memory?

I hate to be the party pooper, but you are both 30+ years old and you're discussing having panic attacks from drinking.......have either of you considered getting into therapy to find the root cause of your panic, which, apparently, is triggered by alcohol for both of you? My advice..........either don't drink and avoid those pesky panic attacks, or seek the cause, and most likely the cure, with therapy.

Drinking a beer to calm down the WDs you're having will only lead to another addiction. I know this isn't the case all of the time, but to be on the safe side, I would stray away from this as much as humanly possible right now. Today I am 45 days sober from percocet, and it IS possible to go through the WD without easing your pain by turning to something else, like alchohol. I know it's easier said than done, but it was done by me.

okay, so when I drink any type of Budweiser products my throat closes up and my uvula expands to twice if not three times its normal size... now has me on 5 mg percocet. I must be hooked because if I run out 2 or 3 days before refill...I am SICK@@ I have leg jumps...sweats, chills, canot sleep, you name it! I hate this! I drank coke my whole pregnancy with my daughter. There's was nothing wrong with my pregnancy and nothing wrong with my daughter.

I smoke cigars (3-6 a week) and my alcohol consumtion is beer 1-2 a night. I have stopped with the beer to see if this would help and i can't say it does. I do understand that cutting out alcohole and tobacco 100% would help but I din't think it is the cause.
