percocet with adderall

Ok well here is my story.. have an addiction to percocet but have been doing well..Started taking suboxone a year ago..Came off 1/4 of a 2mg and was feeling pretty bad with withdrawls ..to my surprise!! I was told the small dosage I was on, I would feel very lil wd's.. yeah right! anyway i read somewhere that taking percocet will help with the wd's..i know..STUPID!! So I took percocet 4 a week, and 2 pills 4 x a day.. of 10/325.. Now tis is 48 hours and I am in terrible wd's!!

I'm looking for a doctor that will prescribe me, my monthly medications, percocet, adderall IR, and xanax, in either the Bronx or new York city, I have emblem insurance and Im not a substance abuser. Can anyone help me?

It is amazing to me that a doctor who specializes in addiction would put me on adderall. What is the matter with these doctors? How did he imagine I would use it, since he knew I'm an addict? That I would use it properly? HAH! But now it's not so funny. I pray I make it through this.

If you need the percocet then why dont you get it from the doctor? The only advice any of us can give you is to tell your doctor as that is the safest way. They will monitor you and the baby. We arent trying to be difficult here at all but you have another life growing in you and coming off meds needs to be done correctly as the baby feels what you feel. Are you scared to tell them?

This is not uncommon, I have this problem as well. The question is can you live with the extra anxiety if the adderall is really helping you? The problem with taking an upper (adderall) and a downer (ativan) together is that they will counter act against each other and neither one will be as effective in your system. You said that you were just diagnosed? Is this your first add medication? You may want to consider trying a different one if the adderall continues to give you problems.

It seriously frustrates the he11 out of me that a methadone clinic would even accept somene with a Vicodin or Percocet habit. They're basically giving you a much stronger drug, with cheaper, easier, legal access. It's disgusting! Go to sleep with migraine and wake up with one. Since I tried adderall, I can hardly remember those heavy duty migraines! It works great for my hypertensives. Adderall should relax people with ADD. It relaxes me. She's basically using (abusing?) speed and dumped her boyfriend for no reason, possibly because her endorphines were flowing like crazy and she thought she didn't need him. She might have a tough time getting off it and crash hard. Plus when she gets offensve about her meds, that's a possible indication of drug abuse. Does her doctor know she also drinks every day? This is not a good recipe.

Hello I've been taking Vicodin percocet adderall valium xanax for Awhile now and I need to STOP it maybe getting of control the Vacodin was 750 mg.

I know this is NOT the way to deal with these problems, just a quick fix that Im going to have to deal with at some point. My life feels unmanageable, Im embarrassed that my friends know Im tweaking, and I can't tell my family because I would have to tell too much. I just had a doc appointment today to increase my pristiq (my antidepressant) and was hoping to get on something else to help with my severe adhd. My friend takes adderall and I have taken that before which I found worked awesome for me at helping me focus and what not. For sure you dont want to cold turkey of the suboxone, its best to taper down especially when your still at 16mgs/day. With the adderall, I only have some brief experiences with it, but I never had a problem when I quit. But I know of many people who have had problems, its an amphetamine, so its very addictive. Hopefully some more people come by with more experience with adderall, Im not sure what the safest way to detox off.

Hey everyone, I have been a suboxone patient for about a year and a half now. I have had no cravings at all whatsoever for opiates or anything to go back and be a user. I had my daughter during this process and was prescribed subutex, which I thought worked well too. Between the time that I had gotten pregnant and had my daughter I had feelings of no sex drive, no motivation, no ''gusto'', etc.

I even started taking the XR again in college to help me with concentration and memory. I obtained my B.A. degree and now no longer take the Adderall. Though I still struggle with concentration and memory at times I am living without the Adderall. I take a Benzo for the Anxiety but otherwise I lead a healthy, normal, life. Whatever was "wrong" with me as a kid I outgrew!

Was wondering at this stage in getting clean if taking an adderall (not a million) would assist with energy without prolonging the withdrawl. Has anyone tried this.

00pm. After two weeks on this med and dose I found myself trying to take 2 at once to see if it would work since I felt absolutely nothing taking 1 10mg tablet twice during the day. I swear I do not abuse medication but whether my body can't absorb medication or I'm just defective I know that most people on the shear amount of different meds I take daily and then the dosages, it should be obvious that I'm highly medicated. But I'm not at all.

There is another possibility and that is that you should not be taking Adderall at all. For someone with ADD it allows them to focus. People who take it recreationally use it to lift mood. Which it does. You might want to get a second opinion on your condition. For those with ADD, there are means of adjusting your behavior to make you more productive. My daughter works with ADD children. She trains them to overcome their problems without medication and the results are excellent.
