percocet vs naproxen

who prescribed Flexeril, Percocet and Naproxen. The Naproxen made him very sick as well as angry (the anger could also be from coming off of the Tramadol) so now he's taking Percocet and Flexeril. I used to be a Pharmacy Tech so I know the combination of all these drugs can be (or is) dangerous and initially (while on Tramadol) he didn't use the Percocet but I found out he was using the Flexeril with the Tramadol.

Yes, I do have friends I spend majority of my time with that do smoke. I current take Naproxen 500MG two or three times a day (depending on pain) and Percocet (OR SUB)--5MG / 325MG. I have been taking Naproxen for almost two months and Percocet for about 2 weeks. Could it be a false positive?

Fentanyl is a stonger form of an opioid. Opiate and opioid mean the same thing: Opiate is an adjective while opioid is a noun. Percocet is an opioid as is fentanyl. They are synthetic which means they are man made and not derived from a plant. Good job on getting off the Percocet!

I have tried norco, dilaudid, nucynta and am currently on percocet. I have asked my doctor if there is a patch I can try so I am not popping pills all day. I hate swallowing all the pills and feel it has a negative impact on my teenagers that popping pills all day is ok. My doctor prescribed the Butrans patch. At first, my insurance did not cover it (medicare) and my insurance wanted me to try morphine or fentenyl patch instead.

t have had any kind of withdrawal going to Percocet from Vicodin. Whatever occured was unrelated. Percocet is stronger than Vicodin. Try not to over think this. It will be what it is...it won't be the worst thing you'll go through. Just not pleasant. It's truly like having the flu...

Here is the easiest way to look at it, (i think?) ... Percocet has tylenol in it, however, oxycodone and oxycontin are just straight percocet, no tylenol. I believe that oxycodone is the generic name for Roxicodone, which is also obviously percocet without the tylenol. Oxycontin and oxycodone are the same thing, EXCEPT oxycodone is a quick release tablet, and oxycontin is a slow release of the same med. Hydrocodone is the ingredient in Vicodin and Lortab.

Hi everyone. It's been over 3 months since I got off Percocet . All is great and withdrawals were completely gone. But here is my new situation. I've recently had a health problem that causes excruciating pain and the doctors at the hospital gave me Percocet to help minimize the pain. I'm on 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours and will be for two more days. Total has been about a week.

on day 10....today my doctor prescribed me Naproxen for my chronic back pain. I know I could search this, but would rather ask anyone with any experience with it's use. Good idea or not to use after 10 days clean. I dont even know if it's a "mild" narcotic or not, however I believe it's similar to Aleeve. Advice? thanks in advance.

NSAIDs reduce the effectiveness of platelets, so ibuprofen, aspirin, and naproxen are out. But acetaminophen has no effect on platelets, so I wonder why the warning?

It's the best medicine I've ever been on n if I skip a day or two you'll find out how much the pill is actually working I have 5 herniated dehydrated bulging discs in my lower back n some in neck I hurt everywhere. N I can tolerate doing house work or walking if I take them. Some days I go 3 or 4 days cuz I'm horrible with medicine but as my pain is heightened that much I'm like did I forget n I take it.
