1415174 tn?1453243103 Hi again has anyone tried Flexeril (muscle relaxant)? Any bad side effects and did it help pain , I have I guess myofascial pain. Any trouble with withdrawal gettnig off of it?
Avatar f tn I was prescribed this for extreme violent muscle spasms. Dr said non narcotic non addictive. Well my experience with Dr and Percocet i no longer believe in their opinion. So experts can u give me truth. Thanks so much.
Avatar n tn who prescribed Flexeril, Percocet and Naproxen. The Naproxen made him very sick as well as angry (the anger could also be from coming off of the Tramadol) so now he's taking Percocet and Flexeril. I used to be a Pharmacy Tech so I know the combination of all these drugs can be (or is) dangerous and initially (while on Tramadol) he didn't use the Percocet but I found out he was using the Flexeril with the Tramadol.

Avatar f tn I'm pregnant, and I was trying to get an abortion but I don't have the money for it. I was in a car accident, and required x-rays to make sure my neck wasent broken. I had been takeing flexeril, and just doing everything wrong and I'm so worried if I do end up keeping (which is more then likely whats going to happen. Have I severly hurt the baby?
Avatar n tn I swear by Flexeril! I have dealt with Chiari symptoms for over 20 years now and now if I take a Flexeril right when the headache starts to come on, I fall asleep and wake up as if I never had the headache. It is a miracle drug for Chiari headaches!!
5447621 tn?1368108821 the second day I took myself off all meds completely thinking it was the percocet 10s they had me on plus flexeril and gabapentin...when I couldn't deal with the pain and the sweats and shakiness,HIGH anxiety and insomnia stopped I restarted on the meds as prescribed. I then went to percocet 5,no flexeril, and taking gabapentin. Everything was fine. Then pm dr lowered percocet and gabapentin dosages to less than half of what I had been on for 3 months..there went the withdrawal again...
Avatar f tn I am prescribed Fentanyl Patch 100mcg every 36 hrs, Diladid 8mg 2-3 daily, Percocet 7.5 4 daily, Norco 7.5 4 daily, klonopin 1mg 4x daily, Valium 10mg 2-3 daily, Flexeril 10mg 3x daily, Phenergan 25mg 2x daily. I now am down to taking 50mcg Fentanyl every 72 hrs, 1/2 so 4 mg of Diladid if needed 0-2 a day, 1/2 of Percocet so about 3.5 mg 1-2 daily, Norco 1/2 so 3mg 0-2x a day, Klonopin 1/2 or less so .5ish 2x a day, Valium 1/2 so 5.
Avatar m tn I went to see the Ortho today and he prescribed 10mg hyro and 10 mg Flexeril until I can schedule PT again. I am going to make sure to go through all 3 weeks so that my cheap insurance will pay for an MRI. I had one a little over a year ago thatt revealed a bulged disc at L4 or L5...can't remember which. My insurance at that time paid with no questions. My question is this, I am taking so many meds that can cause drowsiness, I'm afraid I will be a zombie.
751951 tn?1406632863 d rather give up the benefit I sensed from the Flexeril, vs. that from the Amantadine. If I drop both, I might never have a clue which to avoid in the future, right? Plus, I'd likely be back to feeling as crummy as I felt six weeks ago. Does this make sense? After the past 36 hours, I'm a little less comfortable with my own thought process. What do y'all think?
Avatar f tn See if your doctor can write you a prescription for some Requip for restlessness, Neurontin for anxiety and malaise, some Flexeril or Soma for a few weeks for muscle spasms and maybe some Seroquel low dose, for sleep. It will make your withdrawals easier. Valerian and Magnesium is sometimes helpful remedies over the counter. The residual symptoms of insomnia and depression can last another few months.
Avatar f tn I have been on so many meds and the only thing that helps is percocet. Any suggestions? My doc wants mue on thelonger acting meds with minimal break through meds. I dont do well on oxycontin, any suggestions?
Avatar f tn I have been prescribed Flexeril for over a year, as a muscle relaxant for long term back and neck pain... I was told it was a 'safe' drug, and not to worry about it - it was not addicting. Now, after taking it for this long, I have re-read the patient information packet, and see that it is only for short term use, and I cannot find information on how to titrate off. I get migraine headaches whenever I stop taking it for any length of time, as well as other symptoms...
Avatar n tn I just recently got married to the love of my life and quickly after we got married my husband has become severly addicted to opiates. It started with vicodine, then norcos, then percocet, now morphine (highest perscription). He goes to work and sleeps. We have no marriage. Im so young and feel like I am alone. There has to be someone out there going thru the same thing?
Avatar m tn Fentanyl is a stonger form of an opioid. Opiate and opioid mean the same thing: Opiate is an adjective while opioid is a noun. Percocet is an opioid as is fentanyl. They are synthetic which means they are man made and not derived from a plant. Good job on getting off the Percocet!
Avatar f tn See if his doctor can write him a prescription for some Requip for restlessness, Neurontin for anxiety and malaise, some Flexeril or Soma for a few weeks for muscle spasms and maybe some Seroquel low dose, for sleep. Clonidine is very helpful for the creepy-crawly feeling and control of blood pressure variations. It will make the withdrawals easier. Valerian and Magnesium is sometimes helpful remedies over the counter.
Avatar f tn t have had any kind of withdrawal going to Percocet from Vicodin. Whatever occured was unrelated. Percocet is stronger than Vicodin. Try not to over think this. It will be what it is...it won't be the worst thing you'll go through. Just not pleasant. It's truly like having the flu...
Avatar m tn I am having kidney stones and the doctor put me on Percocet and told me to stop the Norco..Is Percocet stronger than Norco? The stones are killing me.
Avatar f tn Has anyone been prescribed percocet while pregnant? If so, how was your baby? I'm paranoid to take it.
