i have been taking percocet 15mg for about 3 years and there are many times when i wished i didnt have to take this. Its not neccesarily effecting my way of living but im worried about how long i need to be on this. I have terrible back issues and these are the only meds that allow me to go about my day. when someone is on pain meds for that long is it possible to just detox or am i possibly looking at suboxin because i do look forward to the day that im 100% clean free and clear all the way.
I have been buying suboxone off the street and take one 8 mg strip a day. I am on day 8 of. Withdraws and took one percocet 10 milligrams because I feel like I am going to pass out. I can't stand without falling down puking can't eat diareha nausea. I did not want to take percocet but I have my son her who is little and I have to get out of bed today I have no help so any advice...
My husband has an addiction to percocet and moraphine- he is perscribed these two medications from a doctor. He knows he has an addiction but refuses to believe it is as bad as i think it is. Anyway he takes 2 100mg of moraphine a day is this alot? And then when he gets his perscriptions they are for 30 days at a time- he immediately takes all the percocet (120 of them) with in 4 to 5 days at the most, in addition to the moraphine which he takes sort of how he is supposed to.
I have been taking methadone for about 3 years, due to a lower back problem, I take 15mg 3 times a day, but alot of times doesnt stop the pain, so I end up taking 20mg sometimes, that works a little better, but I end up running out before I can get it filled again, usually about 4-5 days I have to go without it, it doesnt seem like much time, but anyone who has taken methadone knows the symptoms Im talking about when you are out!
Myt hubby is taking large amounts of Percocet and Ambien CR. He runs out of the percs in 4 days and is buying them off the street. He is taking large quantities of this. If he can not get Percs, he takes ANYTHING he can get his hands on. Same with the Ambien CR. He runs out of his prescription before he can get it refilled and is buying them off the street. He will not go for help and it is 3 years now and he is crunching about 5-10 percs and 2 ambien a day.
My 4 1/2 year old grandson is obsessed with driving directions. It use to be cute but he can drive you crazy. The only thing he wants to talk about is directions, streets and addresses. He can get you any where you want to go. He wants nothing to do with reading a book but he can spell street names and read street names. We can't get in a car without him giving you direction. A LORTAB is basically Vicodin (hyddrocodone), whereas a PERCOCET is a more natural opiate, also called oxycodone. Because oxy is less synthetic, it tends to be a bit stronger. Both meds contain the opiate (either hydro or oxy) and acetaminophen (tylenol).
Both are habit forming when used improperly, or for long periods of time.

I’m in the UK and a number of times when reading posts have wondered what certain drugs are in the US as they are all called different things in the UK. What exactly is Vicodin, Percocet etc? We have codeine phosphate here which contain 30mg of codeine each. When I see people talk about 5’s and 10’s etc, are they talking about pills with 5mg or 10mg of codeine in or is it completely different?
It all started with a knee injury and thats how i got the taste of the devil through these damn pills. I soon went and got them off the street.. And now i have gone back down the slope. I have been taking about 6-8 10mg pills a day for the past month, abusing them. I have been late to work everyday, using at work, missing work and now i have had enough. so now a doctor swiched me to percocet 10/325 tylenol and gave me some zantacs. do u think he did a good idead r is he an r -tard. i found no evedince of tylenol causing ulcers or bleeding in the stomach just liver damage if gone over the limit. i hope it helps with my stomach pain. ibeprophen *****.
My boyfriend started doing oxy three years ago, when his father was prescribed oyi 20's, 2 per day, plus 200 of Percocet per month. My boyfriend took him to the appointments. He never let his father take any of the oxy - instead he started snorting it. He lets his father have some of the percocet but he took most of that, too. He kept getting his dad's doctor to up the dose, but then the dad went into the hospital. So he went to the street.
Okay so my friend has been giving me percocet this past month maybe 2 months, and I had my period at the end of may but it only lasted 2-3 days. And ever since then I haven't had my period. I to had to have ER surgery for an abdominal absess and one of the symptoms that they had not gotten it all are those that you describe as possiable W/D symptoms. W/D from percocet shold feel like a light flu but yours sounds wrose. Be sure your Dr.s know about your symotoms as they may want to do some tests to be sure they got all of your absess, and that your infection has not returned.
