percocet

Avatar n tn hi if you Google this exactly it gives you all the common and rare side effects of percocet.
600857 tn?1230057770 Hello Gmama: Unfortunatly, that is a side effect of the opiates. Like Beargizmo stated, you will periodically find yourself becoming "moody" with the Oxycodone (Percocet). Because it is a stronger drug and it is working good at the moment, there will be a time when your tolorance will elevate and the Oxycodone will not be as effective and your mood changes with it. When your tolorance has heightened and the Doc increases the pain meds again, your mood will lighten up.
Avatar n tn t tolerate any alcohol with metroidazole, others tolerate a little. If you have a normally sensitive stomach, you should use regular toothpaste for the time being.
2030686 tn?1351688548 If you are careful not to touch the needle it is sterile, if you touch it with something like an alcohol swab, it is less sterile. Alcohol swabs are good at cleaning surface dirt, but not so much for sterility, that is why it is not used for sterility in hospitals. In paramedic school, they taught us that the only germs that alcohol kills are the ones that cannot swim...
1442059 tn?1340240952 I am on week one treating type A and feeling really bad side effects. I feel almost ready to do something drastic. I called the psychologist at the clinic and she said that the side effects are worse in the first week. Is this true? Or am I looking at 48wks of feeling so sick I can hardly walk and feeling like my head is going to explode never mind the crazy emotional stuff talk about the blues!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don;t know if I can even tolerate this.
Avatar n tn I have been taking Percocet for a couple years now but never more than 20 mg a day, so with your dosage, not sure what side effects are typical. I do know that I do not seem to have any negative side effects on my current dosage. Regardless, it sounds like it is not the right medication for you. If you are getting your meds from a doctor, you need to ask him about it. Sorry I could not be of more help.
Avatar n tn Heart palpatations and irregular heart beats are a serious side effect of the medication. Since your friend has been taking percocet for years, he/she is addicted to the medication. When the medication starts to wear off, he/she is experiencing a withdrawal which can cause heart palpatations and irregular heart beats due to anxiety. Here's a list of side effects and severity: http://www.webmd.com/drugs/drug-7277-Percocet+Oral.aspx?
Avatar m tn It is most likely the oxycodone in the percocet that is making you sleepy. Unfortunately it is just a side effect of the medication for some. I take hydrocodone and as the dose wears off I become sleepy. Sometimes if I am idle I can doze off for a few minutes. I find that caffeine helps. As soon as I take my next dose the sleepiness subsides. I am not positive but I think this is a fairly common side effect. I hope this helps.
Avatar n tn I too am on 175 - 200mg of Zoloft and I admit when first starting the medication I was feeling quite dizzy and nauseated. Dosage started at 50mg, then after a week increased, and every week increased until I reached 175mg. In the past my doctor has had me on Celexa and Effexor but Zoloft seems to work the best, for me that is. Everyone is different. I waver between 175 - 200mg depending on the kind of day I'm having.
176495 tn?1301280412 My wife takes 5mg percocet (as prescribed) for chronic pain daily...she has noticed a marked decrease in her vision since doing so and I'd like to know if any users have had similar reactions..she only has vision in one eye anyway and doesn't need to jeopordize that. Of course her doctor told her "no" and also haze her taking Ibuprofin...she was talking to the pharmacist earlier today who told her DON'T DO THAT...
Avatar f tn My friend just quit taking Chantix due to the inability to handle the side effects. She has noticed that since quitting the Chantix alcohol has effected her differently. While on the Chantix she noticed the effects of alcohol tokk in quite quickly where now she seems to have a tolerance that was not there before. Is it possible that theh Chantix caused her intolerabilty to alcohol?
4753943 tn?1359934569 Mine was way too fast and I have really suffered. I did the percocet withdrawal first as well but the Effexor made the percocet withdrawals look like a piece of cake.
1714202 tn?1352672419 m on lamictal, abilify, and ativan. Does anyone know the interactions mixing those with alcohol? Any help would be great thanks!
Avatar f tn will gabapentin help with percocet withdrawals. I have been taking perks for about 2 months and I ran out of them and don't want to buy them off the street. I want to detox from them but I can't stand the withdrawals and was told that gabapentin will help with the withdrawals. how true is this?
Avatar n tn Although antibiotics are relatively safe drugs, as stated, there are some side effects. These side effects could potentially become exacerbated if a person ingests alcohol when taking antibiotics. Furthermore, the mixture of both antibiotics and alcohol can also have some additional negative effects on the body. Alcohol and the Effectiveness of Antibiotics Alcohol does not effect the effectiveness of the majority of antibiotics.
Avatar m tn That being said I would look up the medications on line, find the side effects from each, and find the side effects from the combination you are on. Some are minor and some are not. That is the only reason I would look up the side effects is to find out which side effects that are red flags and need to be adressed immediately.
Avatar m tn I am currently taking vicodin 7.5 750 Mg for torn muscles in my shoulder. I usually take one or two or occasionally three tablets through the day. It says on the bottle may cause drowsiness but they seem to have the opposite effect on me they make me hyper. So i have found when i get home the only way i can sleep is to have a couple of beers to calm me down. I work second shift so if i don't drink any i will be up all night not getting any sleep.
Avatar f tn I was recently put on suboxone strips and having bad side effects with them! I have been on suboxone pills before and they helped, no side effects! I read that the films are 30% stronger?could that be a reason? Also, I got scared/tired of the side effects and got my percocet prescription filled and now worried that I might get in trouble? But I have also read that a person can get suboxones filled and their pain meds filled, is this true?
Avatar f tn Will Roxicodone be as effective as Percocet and what side effects should I be aware of? Thank you very much for your input.
Avatar n tn So I would try to deal with the spasms rather then deal with the side effects. I am sorry that you are dealing with something similar.
