Percocet reactions

Common Questions and Answers about Percocet reactions

percocet

Avatar n tn Believe me, it is FAR more powerful and as I understand it, the w/d is worse than Codeine, Vicodin, or Percocet. Be extremely cautious. I took it for colitis pain and wish to God I hadn't.
176495 tn?1301280412 My wife takes 5mg percocet (as prescribed) for chronic pain daily...she has noticed a marked decrease in her vision since doing so and I'd like to know if any users have had similar reactions..she only has vision in one eye anyway and doesn't need to jeopordize that. Of course her doctor told her "no" and also haze her taking Ibuprofin...she was talking to the pharmacist earlier today who told her DON'T DO THAT...
Avatar f tn Percocet can depress your respiratory system and Lorazepam is a sedative. They can be dangerous taken together because of the risk of OD. But if he has been taking them together for awhile and is under a doctors care he should be fine. I was hooked on Percocet and would take Lorazepam sometimes for panic attacks, never had a problem. I was also on anti-depressants. There is a risk. How much of each is he taking?
Avatar n tn t think there are any severe reactions when coffee is mixed with percocet or lyrica or both. However, you can always contact your local pharmacist for a definitive answer and/or you can input caffeine with lyrica and percocet into a interactions checker on the web. But I am pretty certain that you will not have any severe reactions. Take care.
Avatar m tn Since just taking percocet I itch incessently. Whats so weird about it is its worse when I ly on my back, which is how I sleep. Thank God for back scratchers!!! I rubb my back with rubbing alcohol, temp. relief. I can't take this anymore. Any suggestions?
1563022 tn?1296332599 She took 4 doses over 4 days and was as nauseous as she can ever recall. She was still taking her 10/650 percocet 4x per day, the doc supplemented those with the methadone. After speaking to the doc, he advised she quit taking the methadone 3 days ago. She has been having incredible WDs. Last night seemed to be the worst, hallucinating (she is very aware she is doing this, she is scared, she knows it isn't real). I spoke to the nurse this AM and they said she will be OK...
Avatar n tn For each of these I was prescribed either hydrocodone (vicodin) and tylenol 3. I have terrible reactions to these meds.I feel sick to my stomach, very dizzy, and I usually end up vomiting or having dry heaves (not fun when you have abdominal stitches for a gallbladder extraction.) They didn't help much with the pain either and I decided the pain was preferable to the side effects of the drugs.
Avatar n tn Many patients have reactions to the medical tape used. Are there other signs or symptoms present? What medications were given to you? Do you have history of allergies? Antihistamine medications and ice packs may help with the itching. If it persists, it would be best to see your doctor for further evaluation of the rash. Take care and keep us posted.
Avatar f tn what are the reactions to eating wheat and having dairy products when having autism.

Avatar m tn I have been taking vicodin ES 750mg 90 tablets a month for the past 2 years due to my bad knees. I was recently switched over to the percocet 5/325 my body was becoming tollerant to the vicodin to the point where they were not relieving the pain anymore. I had the same reaction with the percocet where I had to take 2-3 at once.
1191546 tn?1264700552 ve had bad reactions to oxycodone, hydrocodone, and darvocet and even percocet. After suffering with the miserable hives for a month, I had cervical disc surgery and the pain doctor put me on either darvocet or percocet and I once again broke out in hives (which was terrible while wearing the hard neck collar for 9 weeks). Now it seems like I'm allergic to almost everything. My primary care doctor is so careful about what he prescribes for me.
Avatar f tn Ok, I think this is my 1st post. I have been narcotic free (!!!) for at least two months now. My history with percocet & other Rx pain med is extensive: I have been on & off of them for YEARS for everything from leukemia bone pain & violent reactions to platelet transfusion (over 15 yrs ago--IVdemerol), and most recently -- cervicogenic headaches/migraines. This on/off again problem has included opiates/opioids (percocet/lortab/fioricet).
Avatar n tn Actually a visit to the ER was when she got diagnosed. Lyrica did not work for her, bad reactions. Prednisone was a nightmare, made her super manic and hyper. They sent her to a pain clinic and gave her percocets and tramadols but she has developed a high tolerance to them so she is back where she started because they won't increase her dosage and they won't offer her any other options. Anti-inflammatory over the counter pills don't help much anymore.
Avatar f tn I know how their actions/reactions with you made you feel, because I was there once as well with my PCP that was writing me for Percocet every other week or less. When I approached them about my addiction, they shut the door in my face and left me high and dry with everything. Like you, I thought I deserved it after what I'd done to myself as well as the people around me, etc. However...like avisg stated, nobody walks on water!
600857 tn?1230057770 I've had long standing back problems. to make a long story short. I was taking vicoden for long time, found myself very depressed and angry, at everyone and everything. Thought it was bad depression, (I do suffer from). Anyways, I've stopped the vicoden, and now on Percocet and Nuerontin, and Ibuprofen. My mood has changed. I seem not to be so depressed, etc. I am happy once again, I go out of the house, do more with family, husband, friends, etc.
Avatar n tn I just recently had surgery on Jan. 11...I took ONLY 1 Percocet a week ago today and it has me feeling horrible! Its been non stop nausea and just a strange feeling in my body. Could it be that it is still in my system after a week? I also have lost my appetite completely...it's like living in hell!
