Is it safe to take 800mg ibuprofen & 650mg Percocet (each pill 325mg) together at once?

My Dad was recently put on oxycontin- short term- for hip pain. He is having surgery next week. My Mom called telling me that Dad was having to concentrate on his breathing, was dizzy and having problems concentrating. I told her to bring him to the hospital. I will be leaving to meet them but I thought that these were all signs of a overdose. I really haven't had these signs when I was abusing so I am not sure. Can anyone enlighten me?

can taking methadone and percocet togeather cause overdose wich can lead to a stroke? If your addicted to percocet coming off of them can it make you really angry at anyone tring to help you get off them? can taking to much percocet mixed with methodone and xanix make you very disfunctional slured speech and come in and out while in a conversation and fall asleep all the time?

Here is the easiest way to look at it, (i think?) ... Percocet has tylenol in it, however, oxycodone and oxycontin are just straight percocet, no tylenol. I believe that oxycodone is the generic name for Roxicodone, which is also obviously percocet without the tylenol. Oxycontin and oxycodone are the same thing, EXCEPT oxycodone is a quick release tablet, and oxycontin is a slow release of the same med. Hydrocodone is the ingredient in Vicodin and Lortab.

So i had emergency surgery the other night about a week ago. My placenta was smushing and collapsing my urethra tubes. For the unbearable pain my surgen has prescribed me hydrocodone. Every 4-6 hours as needed. Im a little worried. When i was pregnant with my first daughter they gave me Percocet. Don't do anything like that without talking to a doctor! I've never heard of anyone using that for the reason you're talking about. The percocet could very well be dragging the WD out. I would give the doctor a call, and see what they say to do. Maybe there is something else going on. It's hard to say. Fentanyl is a bugger to get off of. I've done it. NOT fun but it didn't last as long as you are talking about. I'd give the doc a call in the morning.

I ahve taken 10/325 percocet for years and recently my doctor has put me on fentanyl patches. She told me to try 1 25mg and if no help then apply 2 to total 50mg. I am wondering if I will suffer withdrawls from the change? Iknow it takes a while for the patches to get into your system, will I suffer w/d symptoms during this time?

I saw urgent care because I had to make sure I didn't overdose from the tylonol. they told mr to taper off of them but I had flushed them because i'm just not strong enough to take just one every 10 hours like they said. But they made me feel like a junkie by the attitude and the lack of information, like they just wanted me out of their office, which I deserve, i guess, That Reaction was the exact reason I was so scared to go to the doctor to begin with.
