If I took one. 5 mg. percocet on 9/8 and did a drug screening at work on 9/21 and it came back positive is this possible? I also did another instant urine on 9/23 and that came back negative. Can the drug company be wrong? Which results are right. Also took Ibeprophen 500 & amoxacillan on 9/11. Someone please give me some good news my job of 18 yrs. depends on it.

I agree with avisg, leave the Percs. behind. I have good news and bad news for you......The good news is that the volume of your Suboxone Dependency is not high. The bad news is that you can be sick up to 5-6 weeks getting off Sub. It's the gift that keeps giving. I was, and on a larger amount than you..... I'm now clean after going through HELL.

My 25 year old son called me 2 hours ago and told me he has been taking Percocet for the past 2 months. He tried to stop and is having horrible withdrawal symptoms. He is coming to stay with me for the next 4-5 days so I can help him through it. I have no idea what I am up against. He has no insurance and just started a new job so he can't go into any treatment facility. It's up to the two of us. Any advice would be most appreciated.

Ill keep it short - not only are they addicting, they are probably more addicting than vicodin and stronger. Percocet is one step ABOVE Vicodin on the painkiller strength scale. Ever hear people talk about oxy? Percocet is Oxycodone. If you had a problem with vicodin, percocet will just be a bigger problem. Id stay away. Good luck and congrats on all that clean time.. A friend of mine is snorting percocet and she hasn't had any for at least a day. She is starting to go thru withdraw. How long will this last and is there anything I can do to help her get thru it? It kills me inside to stand by and watch her suffer.
Hi I was just wondering if someone could maybe help me out. I am 26 wks pregnant and my boyfriend and I couldn't be more excited! The only problem is, my boyfriend is addicted to pain pills, mainly percocet 30's. I have taken them with him plenty of times but I don't know if I would say I'm addicted. He does them around me all the time and sometimes I take half of one because they make me feel good especially when my back is bothering me.
I have been trying to get off percocet. It started out bu just taking it here and there. But now I am up to 8-10 a day and Its all I think about. I buy off the strret. My doctor doesn't even know. Ok, now that I think about it, I am depressed not happy on percocet. I remember a log time ago being on vicodan, I had energy was "happy" ect. Then I was switched to percocet, and now I am just sick feeling. My feet get numb, and feel like cement, and are very sensitive. At higher doses my legs ache.. I feel depressed and very tired. I just sit and do nothing. My hair seems like it is thinning? My skin looks like hell. I am on about 70mg a day. Has anyone else had weird side effects?
Hey, I have been taking 60mg percocet off and on for about 3 months the doesage and drug differs as i have been taking them recreationally, i admit it was very ignorant of me but i did it. I have taken Norco, Vicodin and Dialadid as well but mainly percocet i have gone 28hrs without any opiates and i am determined to quit for good, i have not felt any withdrawl symptoms other than being a little tired as it is 2am.
Has anyone tried kratom 1 day than another day California poppy basically alternate for chronic pain. I have legit pain was dependent on Percocet. I have tried this recently seems to be effective. But b4 45 days ago I was extremely naive about all this. So my question to all who know alot more than Me is this safe good idea or what. Thanks for any and all help.
I was admitted to hospital yesterday. They took blood and the results came back with bad news. My liver is enlarged, and if I continue I would/ could have liver failure. I quit cold Turkey since yesterday, I was given a prescription for restless leg syndrome which has worked amazingly!!! I am taking the valium I have, and fever medication thats not over the counter to help with the hot/old sweats. Today is going to be a long day but amazingly the combination that I am taking is helping.
Hello, I am writing to get some advice. I have been addicted to percocet mainly for hmm about 3 years now. I was addicted to speed as a teen and quit that and then at about age 30 I fell into pain meds. Really any pain meds I could get my hands on. At this point I have been going to a pain clinic for a condition that is not really there to get the meds and then when I run out of those I an getting them off the street, I am up to 4 30mg tablets a day.

I'm in my 30s and do not drink but abuse percocet on and off throughout the year. My enzymes have never been elevated but now they are. I take 1300mg APAP (20mg oxycodone) at once and then 975mg APAP 4 hours later and then that is it for the day. I repeat this for 2 weeks and then go anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months off. No alcohol ever used in conjunction and rarely alcohol when not taking APAP. I quit using the painkillers 10 days before my test. My ALTs were 59.
I have 30 days today with no percs. I have taken couple 5 mg of vicoden when can't stand pain anymore. I did take 60 mg day of Percocet. I'm just having very tough time with all this pain. Than today just in tears all day. I know part lack of sleep from rls. I did move in with senior citizens minister parents couple months ago. They know all about this. But still... I was supposed be here like couple weeks than own place. Well I've had separate offers on houses fall thru.

m percocet addict so I sure do understand the hold these devils have on a person. Its like heroin in pill if you ask me. I can't believe it but I've been off them a year and you can do it too! I think you should be completely honest with your doctor. He will understand, not be shocked and will help you through this. He cannot write your condition on a sick note because it violates doctor patient confidentiality laws . Its strickly between you and him. Don't be scared.
