Avatar f tn Ive been taking percocet on n off for 5 years. More on than off. I use to subsitite with norco, 10mg when id run put pf my 30 month supply of 120 after 2 weeks. I try to taper, and it helps. I recently went up to 6 a day of 10/325. O have 3 left with one ready to inhale for the am. I am coming out of a drug imduced psychosis episode. I've gotten them before, but this was the worst. Im taking 2 mg xanax which has brought me back almost 99%.
787079 tn?1285461767 I recently stopped cold turkey on the generic form of this medication, I had severe reaction to the drug enough for conventional medicine to intervene, they have me on suboxone 8mg then 2mg in a combination pill form, (orange) I was wondering if you could tell me, when these episodes will stop, I really want to avoid going back on any narcotics at this point because I also withdrew from morphine, and percocet.
Avatar m tn The worst lasts at least a week to ten days, fever, vomiting, feels like your bones are ripping through your muscles, hallucinations (for some), diarrhea, but then for a long time after that you deal with having absolutely no energy and severe depression. Not trying to scare you but if you can stay away from it, please do. Don't change from the patch to methadone. Is there any way to taper any lower from the patch?
217599 tn?1202850952 She had hallucinations and thought I had killed both my brothers and my husband and I was after her. It was prescribed after surgery and once they realized what was going on, they took her right off. Within 4 days or so she was okay and did not remember anything. That being said, I don't think it is anything to fool with. I would call the doctor immediately. Everyone is different and although I can share my mom's experience, I cannot tell you how your hubby will react.
Avatar f tn still unable to get medical insurance. my daughter is experiencing hallucinations. is this symptom a norm with chiari? I never know when to get emergency help. thank you for your help. my best wishes for all of you.

Avatar f tn I am learning so much about bipolar and I have found that I have, in fact, been having mild hallucinations my whole life. I have not talked a lot to anyone about it in my family or any of my friends. I'm afraid they will think I'm super crazy and reject me or not let me around their kids because they think I'm dangerous. I just want some insight about how to approach the subject. I really want my loved ones to understand what I'm going through.
403156 tn?1290150018 Has anyone experienced hallucinations while not being entirely depressed or manic? I have been diagnosed as BP II for almost 3 years and have never experienced hallucinations until now. I feel like I see things in my peripheral vision that are really not there. I have also occasionally heard things as well. Mood wise, I feel very stable. So this is completely alarming.
314128 tn?1226857620 I feel ridiculous asking this question - but had a scarey night. This is probably my 4th attempt at abstinence from vics. Been doing 12-15 5/500 a day for several years. This is day 4 and feeling good except for not being able to sleep to save my soul. Last night I could have sworn the clothes in the laudry basket were moving. (Socks crawling over the edge, bathrobe holding up its sleeves to dance -honest to goodness magic mushroom like hallucinations.
Avatar n tn I thought I answered this post already?? I am BP I, rapid cyling, mixed state. I only have hallucinations when I am manic, as most bp's do. I have speakers appear on the wall and play rock and roll music, kind of cool. Other than that, I see little stuff whizz by in my prefreal vision. I did overdo it playing too much World of Warcraft last year and thought I was living in the game for awhile.

Avatar f tn I used to have audio hallucinations a long time ago before I was stabilized but all of a sudden I am starting to hear voices. I am not schizophrenic or psychotic (yet). I have Bipolar Disorder and have been going thru a lot of stress lately. My theraist siad it was just a symptom at this point and it is probably caused by stress. She told me to keep an eye on it and if it gets worse to tell my mental health care provider... I have an appointment with her on Sept 7th.

525745 tn?1212452109 t take percocet but for others I can when I had surgery on my nose (rebroken and set plus the deviated septum) It didn't cause any issues but when used for my back it caused hallucinations. Might be too much meds for the problem your having.
1563022 tn?1296332599 She took 4 doses over 4 days and was as nauseous as she can ever recall. She was still taking her 10/650 percocet 4x per day, the doc supplemented those with the methadone. After speaking to the doc, he advised she quit taking the methadone 3 days ago. She has been having incredible WDs. Last night seemed to be the worst, hallucinating (she is very aware she is doing this, she is scared, she knows it isn't real). I spoke to the nurse this AM and they said she will be OK...
Avatar f tn I have been on percocet 10 for about 3 years due to the fact I was in a car wreck.I have pain in my neck, right leg and hip. I want to come off this medication. I take it 5 times a day and sometimes I need it more due to the pain. Cold days and rainy days are the worst. I am on klonipin and ambien due to panic attacks and insomia. I want to know what side effects I can expect if I start taking myself off this medication. I have too busy of a life to stay in bed and try to sleep it off.
Avatar m tn Hi, I had arthroscopic ACL reconstruction 5 days ago and was initially prescribed Percocet (5 mg oxycodone 325 mg acetaminophen) for pain. Now that my pain has lessened, I only take it at night because it makes me fall asleep almost instantly. Physical therapy is painful and ibuprofen doesn't help much, but I dont want to take percocets during the day so my dr gave me a prescription for 50mg tramadol, which I have never used before.
Avatar n tn I have taken up to 120mg of Cymbalta and never had hallucinations and I have never heard of anyone having hallucinations caused by Cymbalta. I looked it up in a PDR and hallucinations are not mentioned, not even one case. You will probably need an antipsychotic for the hallucinations if you continue to have them even when off Cymbalta.
Avatar m tn People with anxiety do not see hallucinations... if they do it's probably b/c they are on something called ACID or LSD. lol. People who do hallucinate, usually are schizophrenic. BUT! Don't let your anxiety start taking over right now and start making your self think you are schizophrenic. lol. I've done that before. I agree with greenlydia and nursefirl6572 on this one.
Avatar m tn Recently she has been experiencing panic-type attacks and possible hallucinations. The doc says her Synthroid levels are not too high--that was her first thought--but I wonder. Has anyone else experienced hallucinations due to hormone imbalance?
1469703 tn?1372041476 I'm wondering if anyone else here has had any issues with Copaxone concerning side effects other then the injection site reactions? I've been on Copaxone for 3 months now, I am agitated, frustrated, quick to anger. I've also been experiencing paranoia and mild visual hallucinations. I'm getting sick at least every 2 weeks, and have a general feeling of "un-well" or "ill".
