I'n on methadone and took 1 percocet for pain for a tooth ache on 7/8 and went to a dentist on 7/9 and given Ibeprophen 500 and amoxacillan. Would the percocet still show up in a urine on 7/21? My job depends on it.
So the first night (Tuesday night) I took the new dose of Percocet (at 9pm) and my Klonopin and Trazadone (at 10pm) and went to sleep. Nothing strange occured or was reported.
Last night, I took the new disage of Percocet all day (as prescribed). I took my last dosage at 8:45pm and then took my Klonopin at 10pm. I did not take my Trazadone because I was really, really tired already. And I am never tired!
Anyway, I did feel a little shortness of breath before I fell asleep.
m a 32 year old mother to 2 amazing sons, ages 14 and 4. My drug of choice was Percocet and I took 4-5 10 mg a day. For some reason, I went and fell for suboxone, and was started at 8 mg which I now know was way to high for me. I have spent 3 years on it, in an either depressed state or always anxious state. I have no quality of life right now.
In July my parents found out I had a problem and out me in rehab to get off suboxone.
dose per day is important...a few months is not usually an addictio dose if u used them as prescribed..but if u have had prior addiction issues, it doesnt take much to get u back on the pill train..not a fun place to be!
I u have no addiction issues in the past but r starting to feel a need for them..then it is time to let go and use sumpin safe for pain..talk to ur dr before tis gets outta hand..sweaty in the am is often due to sleep 8 hours or so without pills, hence u wake up in mild wds..
If I took one. 5 mg. percocet on 9/8 and did a drug screening at work on 9/21 and it came back positive is this possible? I also did another instant urine on 9/23 and that came back negative. Can the drug company be wrong? Which results are right. Also took Ibeprophen 500 & amoxacillan on 9/11. Someone please give me some good news my job of 18 yrs. depends on it.
that means to reduce your dose and stay at the new dose for several days, then reduce again. This is doable but for many it is too hard to have the self control to not take more pills. It can work if there is someone else that can give you your pills. (they hold them)
The other way is to have at least 4-5 days free and just quit cold turkey. It is like a very bad case of the flu that last 5-7 days. The 2nd week is usually a bit better. You can function but not feeling really up to par.
What drug are you talking about? I only know of Percocet being 5/325 & Lortab being 5/500. Then there's Norco that's 10/325, Lorcet 10/650 Lorcet Plus 7.5/750, Vicodin 5/550, Vicodin ES 7.5/750 & Vicodin HP 10/660. Unless I'm outta the loop.
Yes she is right everyone is different, my tolerence level goes up fairly quickly, which landed me on "high" doses and I had no idea what was a low dose what was a high dose. I was on the fentanyl patches 100mcg every two days, and percocts. I started with percocet 5mg 40 a mnth and quickly went to 240 percocet 10 mgs per month, then they introduced those patches to me and went from 50mcg to 100 mcg in 2 months.
I'm perplexed. I've had 4 back surgeries, permanent nerve damage, torn miniscus in my knee, degenerative disk disease & arthritis in my back/knee/hip etc. I take four 325 per day of oxycodone aka percocet. I've been with my Dr. for 19 years! Today I was told NO medicine at all showed up in my urine. I've never failed a test in almost 20 years.
I have dental surgery coming up and was told by the DR I would be on percocet after the fact. I do not see a DR for the suboxone, lets just say I regulated myself on the dose. I have researched every where and cannot find a clear cut answer as to how long it will take to feel the effects of the percocet.... I just do not want to be in pain. Some people (Rph) have said that its up to 17days?? and others i have read say 36-48hrs. Please help?
What time are you taking your last dose of Percocet? If agreeable with your physician you may want to try to take it as late in the evening as possible. Another possibility, if your pain permits and your physician agrees is to take the fourth dose at that 3AM wake up time. Always consult with your physician and/or your pharmacist.

per day, I am out of percocet, but am taking the oxycontin. I feel kind of sick. Arent they the same thing? Why would I be having withdrawels? I take the meds for real pain, and ran out of the percocet, because I try not to take as much oxycontin, becuase it makes me tired and gives me a headache. Any ideas?
I take 4 each as needed per day Percocet 10/325, I have Lower and Upper Back Pain , I at times thru the day feel TIRED then at times Im not tired ,Dose anyone have this Problem or dose anyone know if it's the Percocet.
I am switching from 30 mg methadone daily to 40 mg percocet. I was told percocet won't have any affect until being off of methadone 3-5 days. Is this correct?
Please help .... I have been on Percocet 30mg a night for almost a year now . I have chronic knee issues . I no longer want to be on this anymore I know I'm taking it now just to take it . I am so so scared of withdrawls. I tried tapering but I had no will power. Should I go cold turkey? Please help I don't want this drug to run my life anymore. I have kids and I want to be a better mom for them. I need support I am so scared.
Hi I started taking percocet when I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled.I didn't care for the drug at first but it helped.I only had about 15 of the 512 at the time so I only took one or two at a time.Of course I liked the buzz but when they were gone,I didn't care..
