For most people, as long as you are consistently putting a narcotic into your body, you will grow a tolerance. I had major back surgery, a four level fusion, in october 2006. Today I was offered the lower dosage 5mg/325 pills. I am curious since it is such a lower dosage if I can take one at night to try and sleep until I cant completely ween myself off of the drugs. I'm actually working on lowering my dosage from 4-6 10mg to 4-6 5mg and I want to keep lowering my dosage! I have tried the chiropractor route and that just made things so much more worse that I know had to have these xrays done to see what is the real problem. My family doc prescribes me Percocet 10/650mg 3 times a day but these don't seem to last more then 2-3 hours per pill and she won't increase my dosage becasue she says she is not a pain mgmt doctor. Do you understand the importance of Free T3 and Free T4 levels - the actual hormone levels you body needs? Ask your doctor to test these. TSH is just a messenger hormone from the pituitary telling the thyroid what to do - not the best way to test.
