Percocets can cause impotence, enlarged
prostate,
and decreased testosterone secretion, thus decrease sex drive. In high doses, or in patients not tolerant to opiates, Percocets can cause shallow breathing, cold or clammy skin, insomnia, lowered blood pressure, heart failure, heart attack and even death. Because it contains acetaminophen, long-term ingestion of Percocet can do significant damage to the liver. Alcohol consumption may increase severity of liver damage.
