Ive never heard of a Percocet 30mg, but Percocet and Oxycontin are not the same thing...I believe that Oxycontin is time released while Percocet is not...please someone correct me if Im wrong...hope this helps!

I don't take more than 1950 mg of tylenol per day via the percocet. I think the percocet and the vicodin puts a "cap" on how much a person can take before destroying their liver. My doctor has been very trustworthy of me but always wants me to stay on these combo meds.

Oh, by the way, you can take ibuprofen along with the percocet even though the percocet already has tylenol in it, because ibuprofen and acetominophen are able to be taken together. Just don't take more tylenol along with it, because that will be too much tylenol and it could damage your liver.

Ibuprofen and such tends to give me stomach pain and I've been On ibuprofen for years. Heat helps but just for the 30 sex or so the heat is applied. Other than that nothing.

Here is the easiest way to look at it, (i think?) ... Percocet has tylenol in it, however, oxycodone and oxycontin are just straight percocet, no tylenol. I believe that oxycodone is the generic name for Roxicodone, which is also obviously percocet without the tylenol. t work, put me on NORCO which is hydrocodone with tylenol, but less tylenol than usual. It really helped with my headaches and I credit it for helping me to stay on SOC and eventually SVR. I was taking alot of them though and had to be weaned off of them at the end of tx.

Post surgery I had a few complications including nerve damage in my leg and pelvic arthritis. I was on percocet lyrica and cymbalta.
