percocet

Avatar m tn lettuce and tomatos. Any ideas or suggestion because this last episode scared me and my family. Blood pressure went very low as well.
Avatar m tn You have a good size habit going - not to mention the amount of acetaminophen that you are consuming - - without help you should probably try to taper down. But virtually all of us with that size habit are terrible at doing a taper.....You should probably find someone that can help you by dispensing the pills on a schedule. Stop taking large amounts at once and start spreading them out more over the day. Stop spiking your serum levels essentially.
Avatar f tn She has almost become crippled by this hip problem and pain and pain meds and Neurontin do nothing to help. Her fatjher has Multiple Sclerosis and I am desperate to find out what is wrong with her. She is becoming very depressed to be so sick at such a young age. She also has IBS. Do you see anything about all her symptoms that could indicate something?
Avatar f tn It started a little more than a year ago when I first started experiencing acute irritable bowel like symptoms and being in college I did not agree with the symptoms at all and after struggling with my anxiety medication, I turned to percocet. I could do a bump of a 30 mg pill and feel good for 5 hours and now it takes a half. Its kind of scary when I look at the correlations.
Avatar m tn I am being treated for ibs, stomach and esophagal ulcers, severe internal hemmorrhoids, had colon polyps removed, and acid reflux. I have moderate to severe pain in left side from bottom of ribcage down to waist. Am being told it is from ibs. Am currently taking skelaxin, dicyclomine, benefiber, mirolax, pantoprazole. Left side pain is not improving and may be getting worse. Need answers to this pain. What could be the cause?
Avatar m tn I do not believe this is IBS . I take antispasmodic medication and does not relieve the pain at all. I had my gallbladder removed a year ago. The pain reminds me of gallbladder pain but on left side. Colonoscopy was negative . Kidneys were checked with a cystoscope And they are fine no stones. I have no appetite weight loss constipation Those are signs of ibs but the pain is terrible that I have to take percocet. Can anyone help me.
603726 tn?1223919660 In some cases, the symptoms are relieved by bowel movements.Diarrhea or constipation may predominate, or they may alternate (classified as IBS-D, IBS-C or IBS-A, respectively). IBS may begin after an infection (post-infectious, IBS-PI) or a stressful life event. Majority of IBS patients have Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Another 20% have depression, and the rest have other disorders.
Avatar n tn I have IBS with diarrhea. My family doctor gave me Vytorin and it caused ONE HORRIBLE bout with the diarrea. So, my question is: Should people with IBS not take Vytorin? If the answer is: No,they shouldn't,then why do you think this side effect is not listed on the pamphlet that comes with the drug.....or any where else?!
1448936 tn?1363206346 I too suffer ffrom both ibs and anxiety. I have noticed that my ibs does act up more when I am stressed and my anxiety is high. I am currently not on meds so I don't know if they will help the ibs. I guess it makes sense that they would being that on the meds your anxiety should be more manageable. There are certain foods that cause my ibs to act up. Try and keep a food journal and you might be able to pinpoint some of the triggers. Stress of course makes everything worse.
Avatar f tn I only started taking percocet yesterday, after suffering for 4 days with severe pain. I had tried everything, NSAIDS, hot wet compresses, I went for massages 4 days in a row! I'm going to have to go back and get an MRI, but in the meantime, I need to take the percocets. I just don't know if I should continue taking the subs while I am on the percocet. I want off the subs really bad, but I only got 15 percs and I don't know how long it will take me to get another Dr appt.
Avatar f tn No, IBS would not affect fertility.
Avatar n tn If a person is having frustrating symptoms in the colon, the colonoscopy gives peace of mind if the doctor finds nothing and decides that IBS is the correct diagnosis. That peace of mind actually helps, because it takes away needless stress from worrying that the symptoms might be something worse than IBS. While IBS is definitely no joke, as I have lived with it most of my life, it is a relief knowing that the symptoms are not caused by something so much worse.
Avatar f tn I am seven weeks, almost eight and I am having horrible IBS symtoms. I was diagnosed with IBS about ten years ago, however the last two years or so my IBS has been pretty good. I am just wondering if other's have dealt with this issue and if so, was there anything you did that helped elevate the symtoms? Any information would be appreciated!
Avatar n tn I am 6 weeks pregnant and have kidney problems. The ER Doctor gave me Percocet and Promethazine and I can't remember if I can take them together.
Avatar n tn Yes i have ibs and i also get palpitations i was also told there was no link between the too but i believe so. It is probably got more to do with anxiety than the ibs but the 2 come interlinked i believe. Sometimes i get palpitations for no reason at all out of the blue maybe even when im watching tv and other times when im very anxious and having an ibs flare up. Its nice to know im not the only one.
Avatar n tn I am currently recovering from back surgery and am taking 2 Percocet 10mg every 8 hours per the directions. I ran out today and tomorrow is a holiday so I won't be able to get a script until Tuesday. I am not good at keeping track b/c the scripts are only for 15 days while most are for a month, but anyway. I have some 5mg vicodin - can I take those to get me through until I can fill the script for the Percocet? If so, how much should I take?
Avatar f tn I am also prescribed percocet and I get 150 pills a month and I take it in addition to extended release morphine for chronic back pain. On average, I take 25 mg of percocet daily and up to 30 mg a day along with 60 mg of morphine per day. I have never had a morning after headache from the percocet. The maximum dose of acetaminophen that can be taken daily is 4,000 mg. So with 325 mg in each pill, you took well under the maximum dose.
Avatar n tn No one should have IBS. Your bowels are inflammed due to an chemical imbalance. You need to go back to the basic diet with no chemicals added. This means Fresh fruit and vegetables, plenty of spring water, no red meats for now. No breads...(breads have yeast which wreaks havo on your systm, also has mycotoxins....both of which is not good for your body at all. No bottled drinks except water. Fruit juice should be 100% frozen...no processed.
Avatar m tn My eating habits were horrible and my exercise level was low.

489725 tn?1280052553 Migraine patients are more prone to IBS and vice versa. The association is still being worked out and the role of brain gut axis is being studied. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter released from the intestine and is also involved in the pathogenesis of migraine. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16419571 Hope this helps!
Avatar m tn i have pinworms about 2 years and recently i have ibs symptoms (more than 1 month). can pinworms cause ibs? i used a drag to kill pinworms 2 week ago but my ibs symptoms continue. any idea or comment?
293157 tn?1285873439 I also have MS, and I do have IBS. Lately on days that my IBS is really bad, of course there’s quite a bit of cramping in the lower abdomen, but lately cramping in my lower back, pelvis and upper thighs at the same time.I believe it can be from the MS because of all the nerves located in those areas and perhaps damaged from the MS, but I’ve never had it checked out medically.
577603 tn?1217700205 Hi there, I'm new on the forum but just wondered if anyone had any thoughts on: I have IBS-D and I'm a teacher. During term time I have an IBS attack most/ every morning often having to leave the house feeling quite unwell. However now its the holidays I'm mostly ok-although going on holiday soon so maiing sure I take tablets for all kinds of occasions! I was told that there was no connection between stress and IBS- does anyone know about this?
Avatar f tn I never heard of Amiteza I was told the Bentyl was for the IBS. Food wise I try and stay away from beef as it is hardest to digest.
