Percocet can depress your respiratory system and Lorazepam is a sedative. They can be dangerous taken together because of the risk of OD. Bethunev is completely right...drinking a lot of water is your best friend right now. And honestly percocet and dilaudid both carry the same risks (although really the biggest risk is the baby being born dependent and since you're only 14wks that's really not an issue unless you continue to have kidney stones throughout the pregnancy like I did with my firstborn). But truly pain medicine under the care of a doctor can be done quite safely.
Heart palpatations and irregular heart beats are a serious side effect of the medication. Since your friend has been taking percocet for years, he/she is addicted to the medication. When the medication starts to wear off, he/she is experiencing a withdrawal which can cause heart palpatations and irregular heart beats due to anxiety.

I'm 13 weeks pregnant I'm been on 10/325mg percocet and oxycodone 15 mg and I lost count how many I take all I know is a month supply can only last 2 weeks I have asked doctors for help to taper or to stop but I can't do it I keep reading about suboxone what is that and can I ask my doctor for it the withdrawal is very bad I pooped on myself in my sleep today and it hard I have three kids to tend to and at night my arm and legs are so restless they hurt I'm scared really scared I
You have a good size habit going - not to mention the amount of acetaminophen that you are consuming - - without help you should probably try to taper down. But virtually all of us with that size habit are terrible at doing a taper.....You should probably find someone that can help you by dispensing the pills on a schedule. Stop taking large amounts at once and start spreading them out more over the day. Stop spiking your serum levels essentially.
I have been taking Percocet and Norco for two years but it has been well over a year now on a daily basis. It ranges anywhere from 40mg up to 100mg a day. I am constantly thinking about quitting but not sure how and I am worried about withdrawals. Last night was the first time I have ever tried a percocet. I took one 5/325 mg pill. I drank about10 beers too. After looking online today I am worried sick that I may have damaged my liver. Am I just having a panic attack or is this a realistic. Possibility since I drank while I took it.
I have always been kind of a heavy drinker, and the first 2 weeks of withdrawals I went on kind of a drinking binge and decided I was trading 1 addiction for another, so I quit drinking a week ago. I actually feel really really good, like I forgot what it felt like to be totally sober, and its really not bad lol. My MAIN problem is lack of motivation and depression/anxiety. Some days I wake up happy and cheerful, and full of energy.
However if it was sent out for confirmatory/quantitative testing, the Percocet should have turned up, since those tests look specifically for the metabolites of the Percocet and the levels and have a much lower threshold. Do you consume large quantities of water daily? That could cause a flushing out of the Percocet if you drank large quantities of liquids before the test.
Alcohol, an occasional Xanax and Vicodin. Like you, I got sick and tired of being sick and tired. I never want to go through that again. Most people occasionally drink and never feel or get the sensation that an alcoholic does. My wife takes a Percocet and she gets sleepy and nauseous, I get euphoric and energetic. Many people use drugs recreationally and eventually "outgrow" it. Others start using them to cope with emotional abnormalities and become addicts. Is your boyfriend and addict? That's only for him to answer. I think that it's irrelevant.

I was prescribed percocet 5 about 6 years ago for endometriosis and other stomach problems. Well the doctors had me on these for about 2 years and moved me up to the 10s. In 2009 I was to be scheduled for a hysterectomy but we had to move. Once we got to the new state, I had to fight with doctors here to do the hysterectomy because of my age. Well at 29 (last year) I was able to get the hysterectomy done. Well after the surgery I tried to quit the pills but the withdrawal was insane.
I only started taking percocet yesterday, after suffering for 4 days with severe pain. I had tried everything, NSAIDS, hot wet compresses, I went for massages 4 days in a row! I'm going to have to go back and get an MRI, but in the meantime, I need to take the percocets. I just don't know if I should continue taking the subs while I am on the percocet. I want off the subs really bad, but I only got 15 percs and I don't know how long it will take me to get another Dr appt.
t go any lower. I got sick of this and I so just stopped taking them Monday. It has been three days and I have not felt much in terms of withdrawal symptoms. The first two days were definitely uncomfortable...but that was about it. I have had some serious sleeping issues as well (restless...can't stop moving) but it has been nothing..overwhelming. I guess I am surprised..I expected a lot worse...after three days should I expect things to get worse..or are they just as they appear?
Tylenol. My doctor also said benadryl and try drinking caffeine.
I stopped drinking, but I do have to take percocets. not an addict, though. Since just taking percocet I itch incessently. Whats so weird about it is its worse when I ly on my back, which is how I sleep. Thank God for back scratchers!!! I rubb my back with rubbing alcohol, temp. relief. I can't take this anymore. Any suggestions?
