Avatar m tn A peptic ulcer is usually sores on the inside of your stomach or small intestines. This is what you are talking about? Or do you have sores on your mouth? Either way, neither is a risk for HIV transmission. Kissing is not a way that people get HIV. HIV in adults is transmitted by penetrating, unprotected vaginal or anal sex or sharing IV drug needles. That is really it. Saliva and air inactivate the virus so kissing is not a means of transmission.

Avatar f tn My name is Sam and I'm a 15 year old female. Recently I've been worried about possibly having a peptic/stomach ulcer. I'm not freaking out over it, but I would like to see my doctor. I've been having pain in my upper middle abdomen. It's either sharp, achy, or burning. Sometimes it feels like I'm hungry. Anyways, I keep telling my mom about the symptoms, and she won't let me schedule a doctor's appointment! Why?
Avatar m tn a year ago a doctor suspected me of peptic ulcer and he gave me pantoprazole 40mg and domperidone for 2 weeks. Then all symptoms were gone after the treatment. After a few months i started taking this probiotic (with 250 billion cfu) then i started to get bloated, felt like the ulcer symptoms came back. I've been like that for 6 months now. I feel like there's too much gas inside me. I don't have excessive burping/flatulence though.
