It has been 3 years since my 2 year Tx on Inferon/Pegasys. I am still experiencing feeling tired. Now I have a new symptom, "Blackouts". These are very short in time, maybe about 1 or 2 seconds. Has anyone found having similar episods like this so long after being off Tx. Also having troble with tremors in the hands, If someone has,has there been any other Tx for these symptoms.

My understanding is that the Wii does emit radio frequencies from both the WiiMote and balance board, in the form of Bluetooth, so surely any risk cannot be any more significant than the use of mobiles phones and other Bluetooth technologies?! Reports I have found suggest Bluetooth is safe - so what is it about the Wii that makes it contraindicated?

Additional note:
All cirrhotics should have the flu shot (they are immunocompromised and have an increased risk of infection, with a worse outcome) along with having been vaccinated for other hepatitis viruses HAV, HBV, TB, pneumonia, etc.

Hi Jasmine. Yes, I understand the majority of posts relate to FDA approved treatment and it is highly informative and helpful :-) (and scary!!). I've also read a lot of threads and posts (from HR et al) re. supplementary diets. Actually I was specifically interested in PPC and I'm agnostic about the vendor. My sister has gone through the treatment (53 weeks) of Pegasys and co-pegasys. She has been non-detectable since the 12 week viral load test. She has stopped the treatment on November 29, 2008 because of low blood work and that she had been taking epogen (60,000 units) per week. How long is this medication safe under NO refrigeration. We went through "Ike" down here and really getting conflicting stories as to how long it is good, as it was in and out of coolers and the Fema never brought any ice so it was NOT REFRIGERATED.

I asked about the new VERTEX drug coming out next year and he said it probably wouldent be out that soon.
The nurse gave me the Pegasys injection intramuscular in my arm instead of subcutaneous? Will that have any effect on the course of treatment? Does it have the same efficacy?will I still benefit from the injection in the same intended way?
