It would be advisable to see an Opthamologist. Hopefully you had a baseline eye exam prior to treatment. If it was me, I would make an urgent appt to see that Opthamologist ASAP. If you have no Opthamologist, then it would be advisable to get one, either by choosing one yourself or getting a referral if you have to do it that way. If you did, then your opthamologist can compare the baseline exam with a current exam. Hopefully this current exam will occur this week, like this Monday, because your treatment and your vision may depend on it. I do not know how severe your blurred vision is. The severity may be important. I did have blurred vision and worse vision after starting Tx and that has continued throughout 48 weeks of Tx and for the past 9 weeks post Tx.

The drugs can cause serious eye problems including retinal detachment and cotton wool spots. With dry eyes you can also get ulcerated corneas. I had a very painful pelvic exam today I immediately began to have menstrual type cramps after being checked. The nurse gave me the Pegasys injection intramuscular in my arm instead of subcutaneous? Will that have any effect on the course of treatment? Does it have the same efficacy?will I still benefit from the injection in the same intended way?

Make sure you emphasize that there are floating particles in the Pegasys. A light yellow color is normal but floating particles are not. I compleated 50 weeks of treatment using PegIntron but was switched to Pegasys after 4 weeks, and Rebetol ribavirin everyday. My tx was scheduled for 48 weeks but I had durgs for 50 so I finished them up. My virus has been undetectable since my first 12 week tx review. I have not been on any drugs since my tx ended in the spring of 2007. It is now fall 2009 and my physical exam last week still finds my virus as undetectable.

At mine i filled out papers. They asked very few questions. Had my vaginal u/s and then gave blood and urine and i was out pretty fast. The next app i had my pap breast exam and they asked more questions.

I don't remember now the exact number of my VL when I switched to infergen, but it was something around 200,000, I think. I was still detectable on week 16 of pegasys. First 4 weeks on pegasys were good, it was going down (although I didn't get that UND on pegasys), and around week 12-13 it started climbing up again.

IDK if any of you ladies are from Akron,OH. But let me just tell you I was in there last night because of pain. They made me pee in a cup which they did nothing with, saw 2 nursing students, one of them said its round ligament pain, which is not the pain i am feeling i know what that feels like and its not the same. They said the dr will be in to see u in a minute.
