The main reason for CBCs is that the blood can tank so fast - both white counts and red counts - and you need to be aware of what is happening. I think the once a week CBCs are a good idea. Have you discussed with your doctor what happens if the WBC or RBC go down too low?

I had to cut back on flute and stick more to the violin in my first pregnancy. My breathing was just so poor compared to non pregnant lungs. I'd be out of breath and getting dizzy making it hard to read the music or understand it with the lack of oxygen getting to my brain. You may be having the start of this with playing the horn. As your doc says if you're struggling I'd ease off on playing until after baby arrives and you'll have all of your oxygen back to yourself.

Just got my Pegasus and co Pegasus.Was hoping just for just the Pegasus, But there was a study that said non responders faired no better than responders on there study. Why this applies to me I do not know. I am a relapser. This cost the insurance company big money. Any Ideas? At stage 4 i have no time to wait. Have had the same issues getting into the studies. Relapser. Life can be hard at times.

I have a multicystic nodule on my left thyroid and every now and then i get a pain in my neck followed by a minor sore throat and some hoarseness due to a cough i usually only get when it flares up. I recently have been getting an upset stomach almost everytime i eat and i thought it was due to my acidic levels. if i follow your advice about the antacid, would it help my thyroid at all, or just the neck pain, cough, hoarseness, and stomach aches?

Hi, I'm new here, and my husband is in his 10th month of treatment. Just had his second transfusion, and he isn't bouncing back. They upped his procrit, and he has had to stop taking ribavirin again. He's still on a half dose of pegasus and his viral count is undetectable. His doctor said he hated to pull the rug out from under him last visit, and it looks like I"m going to have to take him before his next visit. I think he may need another transfusion soon.

Hello, I cannot confirm anything without examination,but it looks like a cutaneous horn. A cutaneous horn a conical projection above the surface of the skin that resembles a miniature horn. Cutaneous horns usually are asymptomatic.But sometimes they can become inflamed and cause pain. The other possibility is of a melanoma.I would suggest a dermatologist’s consultation for this. I've been having knee pain for about 8 months now after one night of dancing with friends. I felt a pain so severe in my knee and I couldn't walk right away. Mri report shows, Myxoid degeneration to the anterior have horn of the medical meniscus no organized tear is present. Myxoid degeneration to posterior horn of the lateral meniscus without discrete tear. Grade iii chondromalacia to the patellar apex. I am only 36 and don't want surgery.
