I have never seen a post suggesting a problem with ICD/Computer and Wireless. I believe the ICD is all low frequency "stuff", That is it is measuring electrical signals that are in the beat or two per second, while wireless is broadcasting in the hundreds of megahertz (or higher, I haven't read what the spectrum is lately - all the new cell phones operate in the gigahertz range).

Okay I'm 53 male with a st. Jude pacemaker. Today I was wearing a set of wireless headphones. While carving some wood I felt unusually faint. I stopped and took my pulse. Heart rate was 46. Is it possible the headphones interfered with the pacemakers computer and caused it to stop...my rythum is set at 60bpm...

I am 22 yr old and i have hepatitis c genome 3 and i am taking pegasus\once weekly and ribavirin since 19-6-08 my question is have i to do weekly CBC or I can do every 2weeks before the injection ?

We have been having TREMENDOUS problems with our wireless network here. We live and work at a hotel, and someone has introduced a virus into our wireless system. Pegasus and Dr. Lupo, I have almost the exact same thing. I have a multicystic nodule on my left thyroid and every now and then i get a pain in my neck followed by a minor sore throat and some hoarseness due to a cough i usually only get when it flares up. I recently have been getting an upset stomach almost everytime i eat and i thought it was due to my acidic levels.

Hi, I'm new here, and my husband is in his 10th month of treatment. Just had his second transfusion, and he isn't bouncing back. They upped his procrit, and he has had to stop taking ribavirin again. He's still on a half dose of pegasus and his viral count is undetectable. His doctor said he hated to pull the rug out from under him last visit, and it looks like I"m going to have to take him before his next visit. I think he may need another transfusion soon.

Will the Pegasus work without CoPegasus, I'm getting alot of side effects, I cant sleep and itchy rash's, I can handle the Pegasus alone but the Copegasus makes me feel bad. My liver function test are normal. Has anybody gotten rid of the hep without it?

Just got my Pegasus and co Pegasus.Was hoping just for just the Pegasus, But there was a study that said non responders faired no better than responders on there study. Why this applies to me I do not know. I am a relapser. This cost the insurance company big money. Any Ideas? At stage 4 i have no time to wait. Have had the same issues getting into the studies. Relapser. Life can be hard at times.

In my experience the monitor is a two point EKG type sticky you can put on yourself, and would need to if you have to take them off for a bath , say. The monitor has a recording capability and some in the US use wireless connection to communicate data to the service data base. I wore one long ago when there was no wireless service in my area and I had to make a telephone call to dump data to the center.

You are right, I was using the hand grip monitor. I had wanted to use a chest-strap monitor from the start, but there was nothing in my elliptical's documentation that said a wireless monitor was supported. However, per your suggestion, I purchased a wireless monitor with chest strap and tried it this morning. To my surprise, my elliptical picked up the wireless signal. Also, using the chest strap my heart rate is fairly regular without pauses.

t be too snug and that you can hardly feel on you. Experiment with wireless types. They are the only kind I can tolerate, and they're still cute and supportive.

After 3 weeks post pegasus/ribivarin (48 weeks responder so far) still suffering with rash, body aches, migraines, insomnia. My energy level is improving but is not great.

I went from D32 to 40DD and still have 2 mths of pregnancy to go. I buy wireless ones for at home ( very comfy ) and wire ones when going out.
