Who have you been calling for help? What state/city are you in? I think you might have better luck in a large city, I'm afraid. So sad our pets are being treated like this.
Do you have a credit card you can put the vet bills on? There is a credit card maybe you can apply for called CareCredit, I think a lot of vets have the application or maybe it's on line. Have you called the vet clinic and explained your situation, they can maybe arrange something with you.
Why does society judge people by their past?
There is nothing you can do at home to help this little guy. He/she needs a Vet immediately! Pawn your computer, sell a piece of furniture in your driveway, cancel your internet service, DO SOMETHING to get the money to save what is now your responsibilty!!!! This is clearly a bad breeding situation and the breeder needs to have charges filed against him/her. You should have never taken on a pet without being able to provide medical care for it. Like children, they get sick, too.

I am 22 yr old and i have hepatitis c genome 3 and i am taking pegasus\once weekly and ribavirin since 19-6-08 my question is have i to do weekly CBC or I can do every 2weeks before the injection ?
Hey Buba, You are in luck! I am genotype 4. Have had it for probably 33+ years. I am half way (tomorrow) through a 12 week treatment with Sovaldi, Pegasus, and Ribavirin. We have the highest cure rate with this triple treatment—96%! Hopefully you have insurance and can get the drugs, they are not too bad. You can visit the Sovaldi website. There may be other treatments on the horizon if you can wait for it. I chose not to wait. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
I noticed tonight that after I scolded her that there was pee with redish pink blood in it in little drops on the floor. So I did a test. I put out a pee pad and scolded her enough to get her to pee and sure enough there is blood in her urine. I don't think this is normal. If anyone has any thought I would greatly appreciate it. This was kind of a gift for our 4yr. old son's birthday in Sept. So we haven't had her very long.
On a separate more academic point, if this were in the lung, a pulmonary nodule is defined as a lesion measuring less than 3 cm whereas a pulmonary mass is defined as a lesion measuring greater than 3 cm. In practice, any pulmonary nodule greater than 8 mm warrants biopsy and/or PET/CT according to guidelines published by the Fleischner Society.
I would contact the The Humane Society for Southwest Washington ( 360-693-4746) or The Washington State Veterinary Medical Society( 425-396-3191) and see if they can give you the name of a referral. They will not be able to see your pet but probably would be familiar with subsidized veterinary care in your community or state.

Hi, I'm new here, and my husband is in his 10th month of treatment. Just had his second transfusion, and he isn't bouncing back. They upped his procrit, and he has had to stop taking ribavirin again. He's still on a half dose of pegasus and his viral count is undetectable. His doctor said he hated to pull the rug out from under him last visit, and it looks like I"m going to have to take him before his next visit. I think he may need another transfusion soon.
