Every year U.C. Davis has an open house on campus called picnic day, there are tons of fun things to do, tons of animals and tons of people. Throw away the water bags and gently suspend yourself (not entirely) or lie on the floor with the harness attached to a hook in a support and have someone pull your legs slightly. Cervical collars and muscle relaxants are contraindicated. Avoid push-ups and sit-ups for a while. The condition should resolve, if not exacerbated.

Ok, this is not a medical question or even health related, but it does concern the safety of dogs in transport. What is the safest way to transport a dog in a car? I have a small dog that is in a plastic crate seatbelted in my backseat. However, I'm being told that placing him in a crate is dangerous cause he could bounce around inside of it in case of a car accident. But it's not like the crate is huge with lots of space inside.

I have to start walking cat with harness and leash in hallways and building and trying to harness my cat or lead her is a cat scratch fight! I also wanted to change my cat to an indoor cat. She's been going outdoors for almost 4 years since we moved to city want her to change to not go out but meowing drives me crazy. Long shot but...a lot of little dogs wear harnesses and not collars. If your dog has a harness, could it be rubbing in this area? Sometimes a harness made out of stiff material will cause this even if it isn't too tight.

Hi, I'm new here, and my husband is in his 10th month of treatment. Just had his second transfusion, and he isn't bouncing back. They upped his procrit, and he has had to stop taking ribavirin again. He's still on a half dose of pegasus and his viral count is undetectable. His doctor said he hated to pull the rug out from under him last visit, and it looks like I"m going to have to take him before his next visit. I think he may need another transfusion soon.

I was recently diagnosed with a large cyst (5cm) on my left lobe and 2 small cyst on right. Both benign. My questions is I have a constant sore throat and pain in neck and also indigestion/ in stomach every time I eat. I am convinced its my thyroid issues. The endo doc decreased my Liothronine from 37.5mgcg to 20mcg because of side effects. The last thing I want is surgery. Do others her experience these stomach pains/nasusea/sore throats.

Just got my Pegasus and co Pegasus.Was hoping just for just the Pegasus, But there was a study that said non responders faired no better than responders on there study. Why this applies to me I do not know. I am a relapser. This cost the insurance company big money. Any Ideas? At stage 4 i have no time to wait. Have had the same issues getting into the studies. The idea would involve a harness system, in home, that is set up in any doorframe and would provide support for users to exercise on things like treadmills/ellipticals. OMG he looks like my Mia!!!!!.....and yes she watches animal planet and Nat Geo---only when birds, fish and cats are featured. She actually will go up to the screen and paw at them. Actually I think she likes Sci-Fi also---mesmerized, LOL! I actually now will leave the T.V. on for her amusement. Spoiled little creatures aren't they. Best to you and Hunter!!
