Just got my Pegasus and co Pegasus.Was hoping just for just the Pegasus, But there was a study that said non responders faired no better than responders on there study. Why this applies to me I do not know. I am a relapser. This cost the insurance company big money. Any Ideas? At stage 4 i have no time to wait. Have had the same issues getting into the studies. Relapser. Life can be hard at times.

I did want to go the the emergency room because of ins. my doc. gave me iron b12 and c all in one , I have to take two three times a day and she took me off the pegasus and co peg. I'm felling better but still out of breath , I get my cbc shot on monday cant wait, I am so tired of being tired Thurs. my blood count was 5.7 My brother think I need a blood transfusion and I would feel better. Has anybody have any ideas? I am very depressed and ready to take a long walk out of here.

Try colace. I got it at walmart but you can get it from any drug store. Dont take one though...I was only taking one a didn't help. The other night before bed I took two at once and in the middle of the night had a huge poo! Lol I needed it bc I was constipated for over a week.

well its like this: i went to uams in little rock arkansas for help with the type 1 stage 4 hep c for a year and a half. after that time i asked the dr. why i haven't been put on pegasus and he said he was afraid it might kill me due to having an ammonia attack 8 months pryor. i stated the fact to him that i had been given 3 to 4 years to live and i would rather die from trying to put this disease "under arrest" than to die from.

What I have heard is that Pegasys has just one dosage because it has larger molecules than PegIntron and therefore mainly stays in your bloodstream while PegIntron with its smaller molecules can find its way where Pegasys can not. Every adult has the same amount of blood independant of body weight, and therefore everyone should have the same amount of Pegasys. One is also not to compare milligrams of Pegasys with milligrams of PegIntron. They are not the same.

They are 1/2 inch long and are inside mucus from my nose and mouth. I have been on 36 weeks interferon/co-pegasus treatment. My desease count got down to 21, so I am being dropped as a non-responder as my white blood cell count went down below 100. Are the worms part of the liver issue or something associated in any way? I have been told I have 50% of my liver left.
