Pegasys (peginterferon alfa-2a) is available as either 0.5 ml preloaded syringes or 1.0 ml vials that have to be loaded by you into the syringe. Both contain 180 ug of interferon. I received one shipment of the 1.0 ml vials and didn't like the extra hastle and volume to deliver. I requested to receive the 0.5 ml syringes from then on. I agree that the 0.5 ml preloaded syringes are easier to deal with and the smaller volume is also nicer.
I think they are missing the baby...its hard for them to find the heartbeat of the one that they say is in here...and I've only had two ultrasounds..one in the emergency room and the other in the doctors office but i wasnt 20 weeks...i was only 11 weeks...im soo confused because im feeling like there's two and im now 22weeks and they have neglected to schedule me a gender ultrasound...i have requested it tho...

If Incivek has changed their treatment protocol as you claim could you please post the link to that info, because as far as I know incivek does not have a lead in period as does victrelis, when you start treatment with incivek you start all 3 drugs at the same time.
Will the Pegasus work without CoPegasus, I'm getting alot of side effects, I cant sleep and itchy rash's, I can handle the Pegasus alone but the Copegasus makes me feel bad. My liver function test are normal. Has anybody gotten rid of the hep without it?
Hi, I'm new here, and my husband is in his 10th month of treatment. Just had his second transfusion, and he isn't bouncing back. They upped his procrit, and he has had to stop taking ribavirin again. He's still on a half dose of pegasus and his viral count is undetectable. His doctor said he hated to pull the rug out from under him last visit, and it looks like I"m going to have to take him before his next visit. I think he may need another transfusion soon.
Just got my Pegasus and co Pegasus.Was hoping just for just the Pegasus, But there was a study that said non responders faired no better than responders on there study. Why this applies to me I do not know. I am a relapser. This cost the insurance company big money. Any Ideas? At stage 4 i have no time to wait. Have had the same issues getting into the studies. Relapser. Life can be hard at times.
I was diagnosed with Chiari at 12 or 13 years old. My mother worked for an orthopedic surgeon and I'd had a go-kart wreck. The doc said it wasn't a big deal but if I got headaches later in life I should have it checked out.
Fast forward 15 years and I got into a bar fight. I woke up the next day and my neck hurt.
t to that to my son. He deserves for me to fight. Even if this test comes back negative and the father is chimera at least I tried everything. I will never be able to prove if he is chimera with out his cooperation and I will never have his cooperation. I will always know who my sons father is and that will have to be enough.

they said no to the meds they have been given me since Aug 2007
so i had to get to the bottom of it. It was a nightmare. the ins company said they didn't deni the claim and the caremark said they didn't deni the claim. I was getting desperate I was still takin the meds. I called caremark to see how it was if I paid for it.he said for a month of the meds it was about $2700.00 thank God my claim did come through.
Second, the Pegasys is BIG and slowly absorbed from the injection site and carried to the liver where it acts on liver cells. Its level in the blood rises and stays high for 4-7 days.
On the other hand, PegIntron is a smaller more fragile molecule and is fairly rapidly metabolized and excreted. Its level in the blood rises during the first 2-3 days after injection and quickly falls so that by day 5 - day 7 you may have NO drug in yr body.
