Let me explain something about "life span" statistics and how we arrive at them. They're calculated on the basis of averages. They survey a sample of people in a particular group (gay men, for example) and look at the average age of death. The result is the average life span for that group.

I'm not an idiot. I know all the statistics and I'm not scared of people with HIV or AIDS. I actually work in a population where it's very possible for anyone of my clients to be diagnosed with it. Maybe you and nvmybeauty should think before you jump to conclusions like you did. Because I didn't know what peripheral neuropathy was I thought maybe it was caused by the AIDS. Unprotected sex is a risk, bt also dsnt mean every other guy has aids Aids doesn't discriminate on race bt also its true that Blacks have a higher incidence bt thats nt enough whites are also victim of aids , so U shld test at 3 months for a conclusive result.

Of course I looked up tons of symptoms and now I feel it’s a cause for concern. Even more so when I found statistics for Washington ST, stating that there have been more than 15,000 HIV/AIDS cases recorded in Washington and about 3,000 people on average that have HIV and don’t know it. Some other symptoms like diarrhea have been present but no fever. I do not have a history of rashes and to my knowledge I am not allergic to anything.

Statistics? Forget about statistics. They are only an average taken of everyone who has the disease. Don't forget, if you are younger than most people. Most of the people listed in the statistics are elderly people who have many other things wrong with them. I take it you are otherwise healthy. I don't think you would fall into the same category as those in the statistics. With modern medicine, procedures and advances, you could live 20 years or more easily.
What are the chances (i know statistics are futuile, but i only had one exposure) of getting infected from penile-vaginal intercourse (about one inch inside the woman) if she did have hiv?
