497186 tn?1214852838 I recently had a CT Scan of my neck The results show a mass in the soft tissue, multiple enlarged lymph nodes and calcification of the right lobe of the thyroid. I had my throat visually scoped by an ENT and her also palpated the calcification. He sent me for a thyroid study and I am scheduled for a test in two weeks after the iodine has been flushed from my system. I do have chronic tonsillitis. Any advice?
Avatar f tn m a 30 yr old female with anxiety disorder and constantly under stress. Recently, I noticed a small lump on my right side, towards the bottom of my neck (between the base and shoulder). It is painless, moveable, and changes in size throughout the day, but it is never bigger than approximately 1 cm. It feels spongy at times, but then it gets firmer. I've also been experiencing sinus/allergy/rhinitis issues due to the season. Other than that, I have no other symptoms.
736157 tn?1233713335 There were multiple papillomas (5) altogether in those previous biopsies. In 2005, I was referred to a surgical oncologist and I had a surgical biopsy for nipple discharge in my right breast which turned out to be intraductal papilloma. In March 2007, I had the same procedure done on my right breast for the same thing. My biggest concern is in a mammogram dated 2/12/2007, prior to the last biopsy for nipple discharge, there was a 5mm mass in the right breast @ 12 o'clock middle depth.
Avatar m tn From the beginning of August until now, she had seizures 4 times (she never have seizures before), all last about a minute long, AND she has severe muscle atrophy and minimal use of the right forelimb. There is a painful mass in the axilla, most likely associated with the brachial plexus. The neurologist said usually seizures and nerve tumores are not related, but he suggests us to have a MRI to try to find out what's wrong with my dog.
Avatar m tn He called it a right armpit axillary mass. I am really worried because this is my 2nd scare. My first scare was in my left armpit. Than sent me for an ultrsound and an xray but could not tell any thing. They put me on medicine and said if it didn't go away in a week they would take it out to be on the safe side. It was there when I went to bed the night before my surgery and when I woke up it was gone. My mother has had breast cancer 3 times in her left armpit.
Avatar m tn Five years ago I had right breast cancer insitu. I am also having a lot of rectal bleeding. This mas s in my chest does not feel like a cyst, it feels that a mass of somthing and that is why I over looks it for along time. Do you think this can be invasive cancer. I have been extremely tired all the time. This discussion is related to ultrasound after mammogram.
Avatar n tn - 1-Extensive DCIS of intermediate to low grade with two foci of early invasion. One is of conventional invasive type and the other is of mucinous type. There is accasional foci of lymphovascular invasion. 2- Fibrosis, adenosis and cystic changes. The nipple shows DCIS but with no Paget's disease. 3- Eleven reactive lymph node but with no tumor spread. 4- Muximum tumor size is 8.0cm. Note:- Estrogen receptos: positive in 85% of tumor cells.

Avatar f tn I'm 50 years old found out i'm having a malignant mass in the left side breast 2×1cm after biopsy its carcinoma Grade 1. For the right breast it's benign 2×0.7cm And i have multiple foci and nodules adenosis bilaterally. The dr. Told me for the right one it's only follow up and for the left one he gave me 2 options whether to remove the whole breast or to remove only the mass plus the lymph node ( there is no pathology in the axillary lymphnodes)...

Avatar m tn Hi, First of all, please don't even think for a moment that you are going to die, because even if you have DCIS, by definition you cannot die from it, since it is restricted to the insides of the milk ducts and is highly curable when treated.. It's true that calcifications that grow in a cluster are suspicious because they sometime cluster around a mass, but since no mass was detected in your breast, it's already a good sign!.
Avatar n tn The ct scan showed a 16 cm mass on my right ovary. Has anyone else had a mass that big removed and if so what kind of surgery did you have and what was the recovery time? The radiologist told me that these things tend to be benign in women my age (25) but I am still worried that it might be cancer. I go to the gyno on Monday to talk about removal. Thanks.
Avatar m tn Platelet activation and aggregation are central processes in the pathophysiology of coronary heart disease. Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is present up to one-third of the general population and the majority of patients with cardio-metabolic risk factors such as abdominal obesity, type 2 diabetes and other components of the metabolic syndrome (MS). The aim of the current study was to investigate the MPV in patients who had NAFLD.
Avatar n tn Actually my breast mass on my right breast developed into a solid mass with birad 3.My OB-Gyne gave me that option to have it surgically removed or wait for another 6 mos for further monitoring.Right now i haven't decided if i want it to be remove. Please help!
Avatar f tn I have had 2 biopsies on the right breast within six months of each other and I was wondering if anyone else has ever decided to just have the mass totally excised for peace of mind. I have my mammogram/ultrasound in October and I'm thinking of requesting to have it excised. Any thoughts no this?
Avatar n tn I have been experiencing extreme pain in the right breast that has put me in the hospital overnite. I had 2 ultrasounds on the breast and a mamogram. The drs. said the lymph nodes in my right breast close to my arm pit (that's where the worst pain in the breast is located) are irratated and inflammed. I am on pain meds.. What comes next? Why do/how lymph nodes get like this? I am a 38 year old female with a 16 year old son.
Avatar f tn s a mass or nodule finding in right breast going from reconstructed nipple toward armpit. I have scarring in that area because of removal of breast tissue. The mass has been there since 2005 and has not changed. Now they want to look more closer at the area to rule out anything. This is a different doctor then the doc I had back in 2005. Of course I'm worried and wonder what it might be.
1904872 tn?1325822415 I'm 35 and I had my first ultrasound last year. I had Fibroadenoma removed back in 2000. Here's what my last report says. in the right breast there is a well defined 10.0 x 4.0mm oval shaped hype choice mass lesion noted at 10 o'clock position. This mass lesson is vaguely palpable. The height width ratio of this lesion is less than 1. There is posterior acoustic enchament are also 2.0 - 3.0 mm simple cysts noted at 10 and 12 O'clock position of the right breast.
Avatar n tn I have been having pain in my right breast for about a year now. The pain seems to be on the side near my arm and hurts when I press on it or stretch my arm out. I had a Mammo in January followed by and ultrasound due to that area being dense. The ultrasound found a couple of cysts but nothing more. The pain seems to be worse lately so I am concerned. I went to the doctor last week and he did and x-ray of that arm but really found nothing there.
