Does anyone know if these are the same? I used to take Paroxetine generic (civilian world) and now realized the army pharmacy gives me Paxil but they label it "Paxil (Paroxetine)" on the bottle....hmmmmmmmmm.............

I have been weaning off Paxil from Paxil CR 25 mg, now on Paxil 10 mg (to avoid withdrawal) because I have been on for probably 10 years now. Unfortunately, after about 3 weeks on the lower dose I feel my lack of motivation, melancholy feelings, being less able to handle frustration with work etc all coming back. I really do not want to go back up on my dose of Paxil since it has such severe withdrawal effects if I ever go off it again.

I stopped taking my Paxil CR 25mg approx 3 weeks ago due to loss of insurance and job. I had been taking them for over 2 years and before that I took other anti-depressants for several years. Since stopping the pills I have been experiencing insomnia and "dizzy spells". The spells last about 1 second, can occur when I take a deep breath, or move my eyes fast, among other reasons,and happen 50+ times per day. I feel this is a direct effect from stopping the pills.

He started me on faverin(fluvoxamine), Lamnet (lamotrigine), Seroxat(paroxetine) Seroxat CR(paroxetine hydrochloride) for avout two to three months but there was no improvement.This time I again went to him he told me that you should not had stopped your medicines.Psychiatry medicines need time and changing if they are prociding no releif.Now he has prescribed Zuloxet(duloxetine hydrochloride), Zeegab(pregabalin) & Zedan(roxithromycin). So what do you people suggets?

Hi was wondering if higher doses of paroxetine causes more anxiety ? also taking .5mg of alprazolam(xanax)and 5mg norvasc for HBP Recently had a setback with driving and now more attacks. The xanax helps but still nervous about work. It seems as if maybe its time for a change ?

I have been on and off Paxil for 5 years now. I started on CR low dose, now at 30mg no cr. My body is used to it... and it doesnt help me very much anymore-although it is better than being with out any medication at all. Soon I will be getting re-evaluated and I know they're going to ask me to wean off it. I am really scared, because I know the few times I have lapsed in dose, it has been absolutely horrible. Any advice? Any info? Everything I find online is abstract and not really helpful.

Now I am on paxil cr( paroxetine cr ) 37.5 mg. still I am feeling social Anxiety. So I consulted My psychiatrist. He stopped paxil and prescribed zoloft (sertraline) 150 mg a day. morning dose 50 mg and night dose 100 mg for 15 days. what will he prescribe after 15 days that's I don't know but I want to know that can suddenly dose be changed like this?

anyway, we finally moved and I was able to see my old doctor for a checkup. She prescribed Paxil CR for panic, and we also found out I had ovarian cancer. I had surgery, all is fine for now. still on the Paxil CR 25 mg. 9 months ago my husband was laid off, and still is. We finally qualified for state medical coverage, but it does not cover Paxil or Paroxetine. My Dr. switched me to Prozac 20 mg. whcih they do pay for.

Are these medicines for anxiety safe prescribed by the psychiatrist? Do they help in treating anxiety? how much? Hi i have depresion and i am too sleepy, the psqui. doc put me on paroxetine less than 10mg for now then he said i will incrise the dosage, my question is, will this med make me gain wight???

Combining fluoxetine or paroxetine with phenytoin can also lead to increased phenytoin side effects and reduce blood levels of paroxetine. You really need to discuss the potential drug interactions with your own doctor.

So I have been taking Paroxetine(Paxil) for 4 months now and it changed my life, took away my O.C.D. and my social anxiety. But i had side effects so i started taking Bupropion(wellbutrin) So after 1 days dose which was 1 pill twice a day, I had my O.C.D. back about half as bad and my social axiety came back about half as bad. So i stopped taking the Bupropion and i am still taking the Paroxetine but it's not working as well as it did before.

Ive been switched from Paroxetine to Zoloft as am looking to try for a baby and this is supposed to be 'safer'. My doctor has changed me over gradually. Hi, I just need a bit of advice. My meds are 30mgs Remeron, 30mgs Paroxetine 150mgs WellbutrinSR and 300mgs Lithium. The Wellbutrin and the Lithium are 3x daily. My question is how can I get over the severe fatigue I experience one to two hours after taking the morning dose? I'm open to all suggestions. I had a severe allergic reaction to Citalapram and was taken off and had to wait for my appointment with the psychiatrist which was a week and a half ago. He perscription for Buspirone and Paroxetine. I didn't start taking the medicine right off the bat because of fear that i was going to have another bad reaction and ended up having another attack last night.
