There are only 5 proton pump inhibitors available. Omeprazole(prilosec), lansoprazole (prevacid), pantoprazole (protonix), rabeprazole( aciphaex) and esomeprazole(Nexium). All are of same efficacy. If there is no response to one, switching to another might be helpful. Get your doctor's opinion before changing the medications.

But a bit curios my stomach symptoms are differnt fron gallstone symptoms normally gallstone symptoms are pain in right under the ribcage which is never had that pain..

The pain which you suffered is probably due to some acute gastritis/peptic ulcer pain which typically occurs in the night and is usually associated with nausea. If you take some antacids/omeprazole/pantoprazole, you’ll be fine. Please consult gastroenterologist/physician and you may need an endoscopy in case the symptoms recur on regular basis, otherwise a short course of anti-ulcer drugs should be fine.

I have these same issues. I take an omeprazole every morning, seems to do well for me throughout the day, but in the A.M. for the last 3 months the congestion has gotten worse... If it is reflux shouldn't the omeprazole help me?

Is it your lymphnodes? Just regular throat? I've had an endoscopy done.. I've had nausea for a very long time, and I didn't have any issues. They do have a spray they can use, though. I didn't ask for it, but if you're worried, do so, or try to let the doctor know beforehand.

Hi, I am a 20 year old female and ever since I was about 15 maybe 16 I've had this issue with my left rib cage. Sometimes when I sneeze it feels as though an organ slips through my ribcage.
