pantoprazole dosage in children

Recently I went on progesterone at a 2.5mg dosage. Last night I had a headache and took some Anacin. In the middle of the night, I woke up with severe nausea and stomach pains that felt like someone was stabbing a knife throughout my whole torso. This morning the pain is still there as is some slight nausea though I was able to eat something. Does anyone know of drug interactions between Anacin and Progesterone? Is there something else it could be?

The reason is that in a small amount of cases it has caused swelling of the brain. If you look at the label on cough syrup for children, even those typically recommend for age 6 and up (at least the brands I have seen.) When my 2 1/2 year old has a cold with a cough I give him milk slightly warmed with honey in it. I have also given him a teaspoon of honey on it's own. It works extremely well.

i am 38 years old now , i developed gerd in my twenties i have been on ppi for like 10 years and they completely controlled my symptoms all this period i was on pantoprazole 40 mg daily and every time i try to dc for a month or two the gerd settles in and heart burn starts in episodes about 2-4 times daily so i eventually returned to ppi , every while i try to lower the dose to 20 mg for a period till i get the feeling of a slight discomfort so i return to the 40 mg dose again i tried h2

The gastro report says they biopsied a polyp in my stomach which was benign, and they found my stomach acid is too high in my osophogis (sp). I am to continue taking 2 pantoprazole per day and repeat the gastroscopy in a year. I just thought I'd post my results because I had posted that I had these proceedures done.

I am being weaned from pantoprazole with ranitidine. It seems that now that we have reached the pantoprazole every third day stage, I am getting weekly bouts of diarrhea, especially if I drink more than one cup of coffee. Is this a side effect? The diarrhea wakes me at night.

I have been waking up at 6am every morning for the past two weeks feeling so nauseous that I throw up this yellow liquid. I barely get any sleep anymore. Doctors prescribed to many antibiotics which led to my acid reflux. Got on pantoprazole for the reflux, it’s been working great but in the last week I’ve had this pins and needles sensation in my legs feel nauseous and I can’t seem to shake that somethings wrong with me. Is it your lymphnodes? Just regular throat? I've had an endoscopy done.. I've had nausea for a very long time, and I didn't have any issues. They do have a spray they can use, though. I didn't ask for it, but if you're worried, do so, or try to let the doctor know beforehand. You MIGHT have an infection that came from quitting smoking.

Hi, I had gastric sleeve surgery in January. Prior to my surgery I was diagnosed with GERD but it was not heartburn just burping and some coughing. It was annoying but not painful. since my surgery I've had severe burning heartburn, even when I drink water and sometimes even when I don't eat or drink! My dr prescribed Pantoprazole and it worked great for about a couple of months then slowly it got worse.

I have seen studies (contrary to most) that actually put the Pantoprazole at 39% reduction in Plavix efficacy. In my layman's opinion, Pantoprazole has (at least, for me) had what I consider a life-threatening interaction with Plavix, and I recommend that everyone re-consider their choice of gastroesophageal meds. I have an echo scheduled for 2/22 with a cardiologist followup in March. If there's any interest, I'll keep you posted.

i was feeling ok for a few months then suddenly i developed nausea a week ago and the doctor prescibed tinidizole with acidity tablets. i took for 3 days along with my homeopathy medicine but i still feel heaviness in my head when i lie down so im not able to sleep. kindly advice me what to do.

I should also mention that I had a clear colonoscopy which is great. However, the pain never really seemed to be lower- it's between my navel and rib cage often radiating to my back. The diarrhea is sticky and either black or grey and it burns. I tested negative for occult blood. Rarely with the dry heaving fits do I vomit, but when I do it is dark purple or greyish.

I just had a pneumonia almost 2 months ago and i had ulcer last November but already been cured by pantoprazole domperidone. Now i feel like my ulcer reoccured again coz im having heartburn,stomach pain and bloating and nauseous. My question is can i take pantoprazole again even though i just had pneumonia and still having shortness of breath and chest pain? Pls help coz i dont know what really is the cause of my difficulty in breathing is it from having pneumonia or my ulcer.

I have been on pantoprazole for only 8 days and have developed very sore lower back pain as well as pain in my legs. Anyone else having the same problems on this med. I am going to stop this med and go onto Zantac 150 and see if this is the problem. I am active and never had site back like this.

I would guess that this is anxiety, which I see that you also have from your profile. Pantoprazole (Protonix) is only by perscription and treats GERD which I don't think you have and Domperidone is not FDA approved in the US so I would not recommend either of these suggestion.

Hello, this will be a long one because I want to provide any info that may be important. I’m a 24 year old female, have been healthy all my life, delivered a healthy baby in January 2018, then became pregnant in 2020 again. During this pregnancy, I ate a lot, gained 70lbs which brought me to 219lbs and I’m 5’7. During the labor and delivery, I had a placental abruption, lost a good amount of blood but overall was fine and delivered a healthy baby.
