Avatar f tn The only things that a dog should be fed are lean meats (chicken, beef, pork, and some fish) cooked with very little salt and no other seasonings, and vegetables that are cooked the same way. Too much fat in the diet or spicy food can possibly cause pancreatitis, which is VERY painful for the dog. The best thing to feed her is a well-formulated dog food with very little grain in it.
Avatar f tn are there any institutes in abroad outside INDIA which can take her case as a reasearch one...doctors also said one thing that her eyeball is not round like normal but it is almond shaped... waiting for your reply doctor..

Avatar m tn By the by, anyone on these boards can message anyone on these boards, just click on a person's name and you'll find a place to send a message. Occasionally I'll get a few, even long after posts, with a memorable one by a fellow in India who had just gotten married and he'd had this chronic awful condition (don't recall what), and I figured it out, and he gave me such a kind thank you. Let us know how things progress here, tho, as stuff develops and hopefully improves for you.

Avatar f tn I saw Dylan in Berkeley in 1965. I'm not much on movies. I like to travel. I have been to a retreat in India 11 times. I have been a strict vegetarian for 42 years. It helps the liver a lot.
Avatar f tn Reglan (metoclopromadine) is a very cheap medication, unfortunately, it is also metabolized in the kidneys, so a too high dose results in toxic levels in the blood. My husband and I discovered that completely bypassing the GI tract by using reglan injections worked much better in the end. Chica didn't get the extra pyramidal side effects (extreme restlessness, shaking and trembling) from the reglan injections that she got from the oral meds.

Avatar m tn Until recently, my health was more or less excellent. In November of this year, I went to India and suffered from diarrhea (with blood and mucus in my stool). I took tinizadole. It had no effect. I moved to Berlin in Jan, produced three stools for a specialist and was tested for dysentery and giardia. Both came back negative. They also run some blood tests. I was put on a strong general antibiotic, which worked, sort of. For two or three months, I had a relatively regular stool.
Avatar n tn I had pancreatitis in '88, I was hospitalized for a month and a half, transfered to a bigger hospital and even seen by an oncologist. I remember having ulcers at the time and thinking they were the cause of the pain. felt like they were trying to bust out of my stomach. I then developped a fever 46.5c and don't remember my first week in ICU. I was put on ensymes to help my pancreas rest.Futher tests revealed a cyst on my pancreas.
Avatar n tn I would take special note of the biliary system, Sphincter of Oddi Dysfunction and pancreatitis. If I were in your shoes, I'd ask for a referral to a Gastroenterologist. Since you've had the upper endoscopy, you may already have one. There are a few less invasive tests such as the Endoscopic Ultrasound and MRCP-S that can image the whole thing including pancreas and ductal system. These might be able to get you the diagnosis you need to get on the healing track.

Avatar n tn This science is very simple but has a depth in understanding nature out and in. I am Pitta person, meaning my fire is overtaking on the other two elements thats I was feeling so much heat and dry mouth. I should cool myself with cold nature food to keep the balance and harmony. Zucchini, cabbage, white rice, Broccoli, Potato, Coriander (seeds and herb) , Cocao, Coffee, Okra, Banna, Apple, mango, Coconut, Pomegranate etc.

Extreme pain in the stomach area feeling like having a fire inside of me. I experienced whole my body become literally red. Avatar f tn Go see every surgeon that you can find because they will say what they think and most surgeons should take it out if your in that much pain. Have you had any intestinal problems? Like blockages or anything? I have that and it causes severe pain and vomiting. Have you had a colonoscopy by chance? I would start looking at other options since you've had multiple gallbladder tests. Best of luck and hope I've helped!
1240683 tn?1268236355 This is a continuation of a previous question I had in another forum. That forum closed, so I had to create a "continuation" post in a new forum. Anyway, I've pasted the post from myself and Dr. Tewari (India) below. Also, here is my answer to the parathyroid question. I have one adenoma removed, so I still have 3 of the parathyroid glands remaining. I just received some lab results back for blood work and a stool sample.
Avatar n tn My hubby went in for a sinple gallbladder removal and he woumd up in the hospital here for a week and then they transferred him to mayo clinic. He had two stents put in his bile duct. and he also had a small rip in his bowel he has a long road to recovery, so I wouldn't let anything go too long, after having it removed it could be very serious.
Avatar n tn When we have the 3 elements balanced we feel happy and joyful. This science is very simple but has a depth in understanding nature out and in. I am Pitta person, meaning my fire is overtaking on the other two elements thats I was feeling so much heat and dry mouth. I should cool myself with cold nature food to keep the balance and harmony. Avatar n tn Hello, My mother-in-law has just received her CA 19.9 test results. The level was 1,002. Her pancreas is enlarged as well as her liver. The dr. put a stint in the pancreas to get the bile flowing again. Her jaundice has reduced, but she is still having back pain. She isn't loosing weight. With that elevated level, do you consider it to be cancer? She is 74 years old.

432009 tn?1304753441 I'm sure the site also has an endocrinologist that you can post to. Are there any bipolar support groups in India? I wish you well and I hope that you find the answers and get some peace. Also, go into the anxiety area and read the posts that Ryan gives - he is incredibly knowledgeable of medications and may provide you some direction. Let me know if you have problems finding him and I'll send you his user name. Good luck - don't give up!
Avatar n tn i suffered with the exact pain you describe for months before finally going to the ER in a severe attack that lasted all night. they sent me home in excruciating pain and when i saw my PCP she automatically treated me and sent me to a surgeon. my gallbladder was infected which can be life threatening. do not leave without getting your gallbladder checked to make sure...you have the right.
