I learned that the paleo diet excludes many of these foods, but am not sure because of all the red meat. I'm all out of ideas, hungry, and breastfeeding. For those of you that have found some relief by changing your diet, what do your typical meals look like ( breakfast, lunch, dinner)? Any good recipes?

When done drain the grease, put on top of Tater tots mix the 3 cans of "soup" pour on top then put back in the oven for 5-10 minutes. Then add the cheese to melt on top and it's done. I made it at my MIL house and barely got a piece everyone scarfed it down so fast!!!

If you cut your portions in half, you will see the weight coming off. Watch the soda intake (even DIET!). Diet soda, makes you crave sweet things. Stick to water, unsweetned iced tea, seltzer. Anything "diet" drink, is sweeter then the normal stuff.

Avatar m tn Whatever, My diet which was great before is now a mix of Paleo and a just regular healthy diet with some grains and a bit of dairy. Paleo has some killer recipes and lucky for me, I love to cook. The added protein on Paleo gave me a much more steady and continuous form of energy with far less dips. Was never comfortable with sharing this info after the outburst on this forum about my wheatgrass juicing.
Avatar f tn Any kid friendly casserole substituting ground beef with ground chicken or turkey. My boys like meatballs made with ground chicken and a simple red sauce with whole wheat pasta. Anything home made rather than out of the box that you can choose the ingredients for can be more healthy and kids will probably eat. Home made low fat mac and cheese verses out of the box. My kids do love a baked chicken whole. They eat the legs--- I pull the skin off.

Paleo is fine for some people, but it isn't really one diet -- there are many forms of the so-called Paleo diet and it isn't really Paleo -- nobody ever ate this way.

I have never had a turkey loaf that was not dry. I have some recipes in my Biggest Loser Family cookbook, but they are untested, so I will wait to post them.

I appreciate all the feed back. I love to hear stories of success so thank you for that. I am giving this a try as suggested and I will post my progress.

Anyway, if it continues to be a problem, talking with your doctor might be a good idea just to be sure. He can run a few tests to make sure everything is as it should be.
Avatar f tn A good crockpot meal would be a beef roast cut into bite sized pieces, a can of fat free beef broth, a couple of carrots cut into bit sized pieces, a couple stocks of celery cut into bit sized pieces, a small onion chopped, 2-3 potatoes cut into bite sized pieces. Roll beef in flour and brown in hot skillet. Transfer to crockpot, add the rest of the ingredients (may need additional water to cover ingredients) and cook on low for 8-10 hrs. Add salt, pepper and other seasonings to taste.
535822 tn?1443976780 Same thing Cherie except the meat is differant I believe it is ground Lamb in Shepherds pie and ground beef in Cottage pie, my mom used to fry it all up, sling in in an oven dish , spread mashed spuds on top ,spinkle with chedder cheese and grill till the cheese was brown, and melted ,not too heathy I think! in fact she used to cook her french fries , Chips to the Limeys out there, in LARD, yuck .I will take a peek at your recipes , peek awho.

Avatar f tn Good suggestions from Lynniqua. I agree with all she wrote. You can also grill your lean protein. (big fan of the grill ., . . you can even convince your partner to do the grilling and you have less dishes to do! Drink tons of water and take your vitamins. I like a vegi and chicken or pork (the other white meat) stir fry. Put baby in a stroller and go for a walk--- so that you are exercising every day as well. Good luck and enjoy your little one.
