Avatar n tn I found a lump on my right breast while breastfeeding my 8 months old baby. I went for a mammogram and the doctor told me to stop breastfeeding in order to do the biopsy. I breastfed all my babies and having problem giving the bottle to the baby. If I can, I never wants to give a formula to my baby. On top of that she is allergic to milk and soy . Any advice? Thanks.
Avatar f tn I am trying to ease my mind and figure out how common it is to miss your period after having your period while breastfeeding an infant. I am breastfeeding a 4 month old, I had a period when she was 2 months and 3 months but now I'm a week late. I have taken 3 pts so far and all negative. how big are the chances that I'm pregnant again? I did start exercising over the last month, and I also starting pumping to stock up on breastmilk. Could that cause me to miss my period this month?
8395984 tn?1400469103 They certified in these such things, not just common breastfeeding experiences. I am sure you could possibly find a specialist who can better direct you in breastfeeding while having a piercing.
Avatar f tn Not normal. I waited 6 weeks after my first, but only about a month after my second. No pain. Different factors cause different issues, though. If you had stitches or tearing, there could be pain for a lot longer than 6 weeks. After 3 1/2 months, though, you definitely need to talk to your OB/GYN. Good luck.
Avatar f tn Me, and no. Only painful if not done correctly, or if you allow your breasts to get engorged. In the beginning it will feel a little discomfort, but not much.
Avatar f tn Hey ladys Does anyone else find that having sex is a little painful I'm 20weeks & 3days .

Avatar f tn I'm 19, sex with my partner is incredibly painful. It is as though I just get tighter and tighter the more he tried to go in, it's as though the skin is trying to stretch but was tearing instead, and it ached and stung afterwards as well. It makes sex impossible because of the pain, can anyone help me??
Avatar n tn So we are having our first kid and totally excited but also stressed. My boyfriend wants the sex to be a surprise. Im ok with that but I have no idea what colors are gender neutral. And we're thinking about breastfeeding because i know its best for the baby but ive heard its painful and you end up having to formula feed when you use the milk up. Also I know nothing about breast pumps or bottles or anything. Please help me out.Any advice is helpful.
Avatar f tn You have to release the milk no matter if baby gets it or not. Eventually it will stop.
Avatar f tn So my step mom just had her baby and she's breastfeeding..she has a pump and told me I could try it bc she knows I'll be breastfeeding too. And I did not like the feeling at all. Will it always hurt like that even when the baby ***** or will I get used to it?
Avatar f tn Okay so this is a kind of silly but does breastfeeding hurt? I've been having weird dreams lately and the one last night was that I was breastfeeding but it hurt.
Avatar n tn t know what was wrong, they then asked about sex if I had sex, so they suggested not having sex, it was weird to be told that, but we did lay off the sex for a while. But in your condition, your fine.
Avatar f tn I swell up and everything hurts and its not enjoyable for me whatsoever. I tried talking to my doctor about it and he said I might just not be able to have sex while pregnant. So needless to say our sex life has been very limited.
Avatar n tn I've been with my partner for 3 years and in the past couple of years sex has become more and more painful. I didn't have this issue when we first began having sex. Its got to the point where I'm really just not enjoying sex anymore because of the pain. I've considered that maybe I have some kind of STD but I show no other symptoms apart from pain during sex. Any ideas?
8550901 tn?1400740690 Hello I haven't had sex in a while like the last time I had sex was a month in a half ago and today I decide to have sex and it was so painful and after sex it was even worse that I had to go straight to the bath to see if I felt Better. Is this normal or is it because I have a long time without having sex? Anybody else???
Avatar n tn Pumping induces labor. That's a big no no. U getting colostrum out at that time has no indication of how ur supply will be. This is my 2nd pregnancy & I'm still nursing my 2 yr old. Breastfeeding is hard work, it's very painful the first couple weeks while ur baby learns how to latch & you have them on your boob constantly. My best piece of advice would be to stock up on easy to grab snacks, cases of water bottles, and freezer meals.
408496 tn?1269603350 If you are having a period while you are breastfeeding then you can TTC as usual. I was breastfeeding and had two very light period didn't think much of them and got pregnant again. My two youngest will be 14 months apart!
Avatar f tn If the lump is painful, then could be a clogged milk duct which is very common in breastfeeding mothers.Your should massage the lump while breastfeeding or when pumping.Applying very warm compresses should help unclog the duct. However, any new lump that persists, whether painful or not, needs to be evaluated.Since you are breastfeeding,it's highly unlikely to be something alarming ,but the only way to get a proper evaluation is to have this lump investigated by your OBGYN.
