I suffer from those symptoms as well. I was on bc for at least 15 yrs & then quit it about 4 yrs ago to ttc and that's when I started to realize I had some issues b/c the pain really showed up then & just got worse the longer I was off of the bc. I finally had exploratory surgery almost a year ago to find out what was wrong and try to treat the issue to help with the pain. Ended up having stage 3 endo, ovarian cysts (pcos), as well as uterine fibroids/cysts.
My problem is, the last couple of months, not every time we have sex, but sometimes, it is painful. Not a burning dry sensation upon entry, that is fine. It is when he is thrusting deep. We tend to umm, embarassing to say here, like it rough a lot. But lately, this hasn't been feeling too good. I notice it hurts in doggy style, not so much in missionary, if it did then very slight. It goes away immediately, only hurts when he is thrusting and prodding in.
I fear you may have one of many possible conditions going on here. Ovarian Cysts are painful but typically not harmful. however, with a history of them, you may be ignoring signs of a more serious condition. The sudden large ammount of weight loss, is a worry as well. I think you should go see your OB/Gyn as soon as possible, but if you refuse to go due to insurance, you need to look into local medical programs. I am 44 years old. I had a hysterectomy 4 years ago for fibroids. I have a history of ruptured cysts. Since the surgery I've had issues with painful sex, bladder urgency, trouble emptying bladder and bowel issues. Over the last year I started having severe bloating, nausea, and lower back pain. Was that a transvaginal ultrasound? The problem with larger cysts is that they can twist or rupture and that is extremely painful.. Please don't worry about cancer at this stage of the game. HI. How long has the cyst been there? When cysts are discovered the doctors will normally observe it for up to 3 months to see if it disappears itself, which a lot of cysts can. If it is causing severe pain, not resolving, or if it is suspicious in any way the cyst may be removed or drained. Most ovarian cysts are harmless.

In the meantime, one thing you can do is start keeping a journal of al of your symptoms. Be as specific as possible about what cycle day you are on, pain level, what the pain feels like, how long it lasts and what you do/take for it, and where the pain is.
