painful sex after ovulation

Hi can anybody give me some advice. The last 2 cycles, around ovulation. When we have sex i get this terrible cramping afterwards, it only happens once a month and goes away after about half an hour and its as if it was never there, i dont get any other problems, periods are always on time, i always get a pos ov test at around ovualtion time?? Can anybody help..

I too deal with painful sex depending on different days or positions. My doctor and my mothers doctors says its related to where the cervix is located. If it is indeed hanging low..he suggested kiegal excersizes to strengthen you vaginal muscles.

can endo cause ovulation so painful you can hardly sit down because you feel as tho you are falling out?

Hi, I have painful ovulation. I hurt really bad in my lower back, lower stomach and I can definitely tell by the pain in my ovaries. They feel like they're going to burst and I'll tell my husband that it actually feels like I'm trying to squeeze a cantaloupe through a tooth pick for 2 days. I'm not sure what the reason is really. Some just have painful ovulation? I wished I knew myself. Unfortunately long story short I've been TTC for 6 plus yrs now.

after a few months of interval wen we had sex i felt it very painful and i had bleeding which lasts a few days.i consulted a gynac and aftr blood check and ultrasound diagonsed they diagonsed pcos.took medicines and regularised periods.aftr 6 months wen we had sex the same problem arised.this tym the doctor checked for any polyps by visual examination.also we did a transvaginal scan.this tym also they said i had pcos.as usual contraceptive pills and metformin tablets wer given.

It took us 5 years to have our daughter this year on January 3rd and we got pregnant the one time we had sex after I was clear. I am do with a boy January 21st of next year. So they will be about a year and 2 weeks apart.

I had sex 3 days after early miscarriage,can I get pregnant again? And will ovulation continue as soon after miscarriage?

It lasts for a few hours unless I have sex. If I have sex the pain goes away, if I do not it lasts until the next day. I know its ovulation because i test with ovulation strips and when I start having the pain the tests are blaring bright red positive. I am not sure if this is absolutely normal, or if it could possibly mean something else. Anyone have this or know anything about it? Thanks for taking the time to read this.

hi everyone. i had a sex( oooops) last night and it was painful and tender. my tummy is still hurting now. like a cramp. is this just implantation? i havnt done that test yet. i am 10 days post ovulation.... ps. i dont know what all your abbreviations mean!

I have endometriosis and it hurts when I ovulate but it is really really painful not just when having sex but anytime during ovulation. Now, they say that it is harder to get pregnant when you have endometriosis but this is not necessarily true. It only took me 1 month to get pregnant even though I have endo. So, really it just all depends on how your body reacts and fertility issues, if any. Good Luck to you!

However, if you are midcycle and think you were ovulating, that is a worry for pregnancy. Remember, you can always take Plan B up to 72 hours after unprotected sex.

I had suffered a miscarriage a little over 6 yrs ago before I met my DH. I suffered from painful sex, periods etc. I however was lucky enough to have my son. After he was 7 months old went in for a laparos. and was diagnosed with mild/moderate endometriosis. It took less amount of time to conceive my son than it is ttc again with the second. The endo caused my periods to disappear meaning no ovulation. We have been ttc for 2 yrs next month.

Hi ladies, I've had normal ovulation in the past three cylcle but still no pregnancy, the US shows that i have 3.5cm cyst in my left ovary and the right is bulky. my question can this cyst prevent me from getting pregnant.i have ttc for a year i,m confused pls help.

Around july 8th or so i was having alot of intercourse with my bf of 3 years (were faithful and live together) we had been at it for a few days before that (and after). After sex on this say i noticed pink cervical mucus, no blood spots the whole cm was pink. Now I have never had this happen before. I would have sex that day(some of the ovulation kits when its positive means your going to ovulate anywhere between 24-48 hours, it depends on the brand you have and what it says on the box) and the next two days, but everybody is different, I new my body so well, i only had sex one day, when my test said positive i didnt have sex that day, i did it the next day and that was it, but since i had a m/c im going to do it in the way i just told you. Some people do it that whole week.

My husband and I have been TTC for almost four years with no luck yet other then two miscarriages. As of right now, I'm ovulating and we had intercourse last night. I did everything the doctor told me to do, flip over on all fours, elevate my hips. I woke up this morning at 6:30am with period like cramps. I'm not due to start for another 2 weeks. It's very unlikely you're pregnant if you got your period so soon because it's to early to have bleeding due to pregnancy. Try getting some ovulation predictors and have sex on or around those days. Also you can't test positive until you miss a period about 4 to 6 weeks after sex. Sometimes sooner with a good test.

t have a straight answer for you unfortunatley. But Painful ovulation could mean that you have cysts. Have you had an ultrasound to check? My doc told me that cramping throughout the luteal phase could be a corpus luetum cyst.

I just had a dnc on May 5th. Had sex four days after. Should I be worried. Had a little pressure there. Is it really common. Emotions run high after losing a precious little angel. Also how long after dnc does it take to ovulate.

Hey all - my nipples have been super sensitive and hurting a lot the past few days. It's actually quite painful. I've been pregnant twice before (both ended in miscarriage) and had tender/sore breasts both times, but never nipple pain like this. Well it sounds like your regular, which is a good thing. Are you having sex the days leading up to your positives, and a few days after and during? It's important to at least have sex every other day throughout (in your case) day 10-18. Good luck hun!

I had a paragrad Copper T IUD for 10 years (the max) and it was amazing. Non hormonal and the last 4 years or so my periods were every other month. Heavier periods and cramping, but no pregnancy risk due to forgotten pill or missed shot appointment. Occasionally (and depending on position) my bf could feel it during sex. I thought I had felt it move/readjust a couple times after sex but it wasn't painful. Had it removed in late January and was pregnant by late April.

I don't know about "normal" ovulation but if you had sex a day after your period than chances of pregnancy is low. Your chances are high if you have sex during ovulation or immediately after because the egg only has a 24 hour window to be fertilized. It seems your ovulation won't be for another week to week and a half after your period. If you want the date(s) where you are highly fertile I recommend doing an ovulation calculator which can be found online.

That's the best time to have sex to get pregnant, well besides the actual ovulation date :)
