I had IUI on May 8th one day after and HCG injection and after taking clomid on days 2 to 5. It's now 10 days since it all happened and I have felt completely wierd all week and yesterday I started getting what feels like dull period cramps that just won't go away. Does the HCG make your periods more regular - my cycle is usually anything between 20 and 34 days? Is this cramping normal?
That day in the afternoon I had bad cramps and a bloated feeling. It lasted 2.5 days slowly fading each day. Tonight dh and I had sex and right after I started feeling crampy nothing bad. After about 10 min it got bad. I had to sit down and wait about 30 min for it ease up. Since then I still get on and off pain in the uterus/cervix area. Any ideas as to what is wrong? I don't remember having anything like this last time with the iui or fertility meds.
I just had an IUI done on the 12th and my huband only had 3million sperm after the washing. I was told by the nurse that is the lowest count they will even do the procedure with. The insemination was very painful and I cramped the whole day. However my cervix is tilted and the nurse had problems getting the catheter in. My husband and I had sex 24hrs after like we were told and again last night. I am still hurting (cramping and pain inside when I sit, pee, etc.
I triggered with ovidrel on May 15th pm and had my iui on May 17th. After about 3 to 4 hours after my iui I had cramping on my left side as well. I had 2 follies on left side and none on my right. I had to go back in on the 18th for a sono to see if follies had collapsed which they did. I cramped on and off 12dpiui and i just didnt feel right. I had a completely different feeling from my first iui.
This cycle I had the same symptoms again starting at 7 days prior to AF cycle with no meds or IUI and lasting several days after flow stopped. The pelvic pain is located in the very low central pelvic region and at times is either right or left sided. I also have the sensation of pressure in the area. Prior to this I've never had painful cycles other than cramping on day 1 of AF. My questions are as follows:
1. Is it normal to have these type of issues with the meds?

I hope they had you not have sex 48 hours before iui to increase sperm count. It probably helps to have sex every other day or every two days during ovulation time since you husband doesn't have a high sperm count. Did you have sex the day after IUI? That would also give you an extra chance. Did you do a trigger shot before IUI or did you ovulate naturally? Trigger shot helps release any follicle 15 and over which would increase your chances. How old are you?
You didn't have a risk at all from oral sex.
Yes. That's what I did. Although they say not to bd at least 2 days before iui so that your partner's little swimmers are fresh. That is if he has a low count. I bd before and after the iui since my husband doesn't have an issue there. Hope that helped u. Good luck!
I had 8-9 follicles but only 3 or 4 were mature. After the iui I had pretty bad ovulation pain on Weds, to the point I could hardly walk. I figured that meant I ovulated (the scan showed I was probably in the process--dr said he could tell b/c there was the fluid that is released when the follicle ruptures). The pain subsided for a bit but I've had pain similar to ovulation pain off and on since (at a lesser intensity). Does anyone know what this could be due to?
My fibroid was taking up my entire uterus from side to side. The only part of my uterus that wasn't taken up was the lower part. I had a laproscopic myomectomy. My fibroid was inside my uterus. My RE said this had nothing to do with not being able to get pregnant. I really dont see how it had nothing to do with it thought when it was taking up almost my entire uterus. Do you know where your fibroid is if you have one? I'm happy I had it removed. TMI info but...
We would love either but would like to increase our chances of having a girl we have three boys at home and love them dearly but would like to try for one more child and think also that it would be neat to have a girl (we have an older daughter-from a previous marriage) Yes I have been on Clomid for 4 months and did a trigger shot the same day as the first IUI this time I did the IUI on day 14(with hcg trigger? shot) and then IUI again on the next day -15 of my cycle.
