painful lump on wrist

Did you ever find a solution to this or see a doctor for a diagnosis? I've had exactly the same condition develop over the past 2-3 weeks on a large vein on my left wrist. It's not extremely painful but a little sore if touched. Any feedback would be helpful if you've found a resolution. Thanks!

Hard painful lum noted on top left hand below wrist and in line with index and middle finger. Very painful when bumped and with flexion. Pain with burning, throbbing to wrist, hand, and fingers as well. Same bump on right hand but not painful at present. Bump is firm and feels like bone. Any thoughts what it could be?

I am 14 years old and I have been experiencing pain in my wrist for a little under 5 months. It is a hard lump on my right wrist.it is located under my pinky side of the wrist and where the bone is. It is bigger and fatter than my left wrists bone. It hurts to twist both ways more clockwise than the other. Recently it has also even aching and hurting when I'm not doing anything with it. I have asked my parents if we should check it but they said no.

I have fm and in the past 8 months developed painful lumps in the same place on both wrists. Just where the bottom of the thumb meets the wrist. I can't wear my watch band anymore because the swelling makes it so tight. To me it looks like there is something on one of the ligaments. Finally I went to the doctor . Xrays of both hands showed nothing. He gave me an injection of cortisone into the lump on the most painful wrist and although I still have this lump the pain is gone.

I am an athletic trainer and I had athletes that have wrist trouble all the time. Is the clicking on the radial or ulnar side or the wrist? If on the ulnar side it could be the TFCC which is cartilage that can get irritated or torn and pop and click. You may also have a carpal bone out of place. An orthopedic doctor should be able to help you out pretty easily! If you aren't having tingling, numbness or anything like that I wouldn't chalk it up to carpal tunnel just yet!

Been having bruising for a while, it had stopped but returned and now I keep,getting this lump to the side of my wrist and very fatigue at times and recently been having frequent urination. Any idea of what might be causing this?

My father had one in his left wrist, he was left handed. I first noticed the lump in my wrist after this last leaf raking season. I have done extensive research but one symptom I have that I have not seen mentioned is this; I can not only feel but see my pulse in the lump. Is this a Ganglion or something else.

I developed a sore foot after walking several weeks. Then I dropped a pretty heavy bottle of water right on the spot the hurts - on top of the right foot. Now I have a quarter sized hard lump in that exact area and it hurts to walk. The lump is approximately in line with my second toe and it's a little more than half way down the hop of the foot. I have a lump, "hard , non movable" on my hand it is between first didgit nd middle finger on the area closest to first knuckle on middle finger, I am guessing its a cyst of some sort . It is becoming increasingly painful, no trauma was preceding this. The big two being my wrist in the carpal area and my hip. The hip was injured a year before and goes through random bouts of pain, so who knows if any of this is related. I had a small lump about the size of a large pea appear on my right arm about a month ago, it moved up and down my arm if I pushed it. it seamed like it was attached to a "string" I could feel it stretch to the end. then it anchored itself about a week ago and now it does not move any more. I fell backwards onto the at whilst iceskating with a straight arm. The pain went down my entire forearm from my elbow to my wrist and i thought i had broken my wrist. The top part of my hand itself was kind of swollen also. But my biggest concern is that there is a small lump on the bottum part of my wrist now that I can move around. It was pretty big when it originally happened and I kept pushing it back in. 4 days later however it is quite small but still sticks out. right handed. small bump has arrisen on the area of the wrist where the thumb and wrist attach. painful to use thumb. can move thumb with other hand no pain. skin in this area also sentitive to touch. hard to grasp anything with right hand. I wear a small brace on this hand during day hours to be able to do my job.

My 16yr old sees an Ortho on Tues for this. She's had the lump on the wrist come/go for 6 weeks with and without pain and now it is severely painful, loss of range of motion, and the primary doc. said joint is inflammed. The cyst itself pops up when she flexes her wrist downward and now is in Ace bandage and on NSAID for pain/inflammation. Any experience, advice out there is much appreciated.

I had a baby more than 2 months ago, when I was in the hospital the nurse was trying to put an IV on my left wrist but then after 3 unsuccessful painful try, it end up on my right wrist. a day after I went home, i started to have this very painful on my left wrist with a bluish bruises and the bruises was gone but the pain still there, even just to lift a glass or move it or anything is sooo painful.

I recently went to the ER because my left armpit was swollen. Dr diagnosed it as a Lipoma and sent me home. After googling it, my non-physician self, concluded maybe it's an infection in my lymph nodes.
